I love the detail they included under his chest flap that opens so the head can fold away. This area isn't seen 99% of the time yet they put these cool freakin vents in there.

    So good.

Nope, that black vents are covered up by solid purple plastic.

You can just barely see the sides of the painted black chest vents through the chest panel if you look carefully but yeah its so dark and opaque they may as well have not bothered to paint those bits lol.

When your Iron Factory Shockwave has a better tape deck mode than Iron Factory Soundwave...

This guy is really cool, makes me want to collect more of this size. Will be a nice hand/laser gun for my mp Bruticus when one is released. For now Constructor can use him.

I finally caved and decided to buy this guy over the weekend. So hopefully I'll have him by Thursday.

Never bought an Iron Factory release before, so we'll see if I invest in, say, War Giant.

Now that I have him in hand he's heavier than I expected. And taller. He stands much closer to IF's taller guys like Ultra Magnus, Grimlock, Overlord a nd OP.

Just received mine today and boy, am I blown away by this figure. I was never too impressed with iron factory's offerings in terms of overall build quality, and this guy just completely changed my opinion of IF stuff. Huge improvement in the fit & finish and plastic feel over their optimus.

    Now the wait for bruticus!!

Totally agree, this Shockwave has a huge presence for such a small figure. It's easily the favorite of my IF and DX9 pieces (at least until Ghost Starscream is complete, then it might be a closer race).

Just picked this up recently. Awesome again IF. Constructively speaking, would love to see IF getting more into height differences in the bots. Much like what they are doing for Combaticons. This Shock ( watcher) is about the same IF avg scale. He is great though. Love the added hose.

Got mine in today and I freaking love him. This is possibly the best Iron Factory figure I have to date. The leg transformation is a little finicky, but it's overall a pretty fun experience and both modes are gorgeous. The best part, though, is that I've officially got enough figures to make a decent 3rd Party submarine fleet:

Sooo... Bridge Watcher is pretty great! Now I'm really tempted to get War Giant. Anyway, pics.
