I believe hbwh1 (appears on good list) is potential trouble. Bought items 6 days ago and only shows 'Paid' haven't even got the fake tracking number that bestgift_china supplied.

Emailed multiple times no response.

Be cautious if you want something from this seller

Well, it's not really the sellers fault. And if those translucent pieces peg on, why can't you just accept the parts?

I totally understand that and that fact is not lost on me. However, I'm pretty new to collecting 3rd party figures and also purchasing from China/eBay.

Also, as I would assume most of us are mature collector's I just wanted to be educated on the consensus of how the guys around here would tackle such an issue on such a relatively expensive novelty.

The parts haven't been outright promised to me so should I be told later on that they aren't available, well, I wouldn't exactly have much to go off of if I raised a disputed with eBay outside of the allotted time. Y'know?  

 

Ask for replacement parts. If he don't come through, then file a dispute.

I managed to get replacement parts from KBB so, TFC should be cake.

ANOTHER TRICK WHEN CALLING PAYPAL, JUST REPEAT "CUSTOMER SERVICE" OVER AND OVER TO THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM INSTEAD OF ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS, GETS YOU TO A REP VERY FAST.

 

File a paypal dispute. A solution could be a massive discount or to have the parts shipped to you within X period of time WITh tracking. Really, though, if these guys wanted to solve your problem in a jiffy they could. They could open a box they have on hand and send you the parts, or they could send you a complete new one. You should not take a loss on it, it's the seller that needs to make it right. Let them know that you have no choice but to leave negative feedback if the problem is not resolved by X date. Remember though, there is a cut off date to leaving feedback.

Also, name names. Let us know who this "reputable" ebayer is and how they ultimately solve their customers' issues.

 

Try to deal with the manufacture first. If no success you ask the seller to help out. With no success you try to open a claim. Although is not seller fault, he/she should provide assistance.

So add illegible or erroneous addresses to his list of scam tactics, since that makes at least two people here now who have reported that. Since it's now unlikely I'll ever see my package of beads or whatever he sent (if he sent anything and this isn't an entirely fake tracking number,) I finally left my negative feedback since now I can be 100% certain instead of merely 99.9% lol.

 

For MOST ebay accounts, yes, but not everyone. My ebay account is "top shelf", so to speak. I can, and have left negative feedback within a mere few days of just PURCHASING an item that there seems to be an issue with. I am the one who started the negative feedback for Bestgift-China, and only after 7 days of purchasing an item, and him giving me a fake tracking number, with no activity. Now there are about 10 negative feedbacks, since I started it. I also just called ebay, I am one of the few ebayers that has a direct phone number to customer service. Due to the status of my account, I can call ebay customer service anytime, and get a human within 5 minutes. I just called them 5 minutes ago, at 11:30 PM EST, and had THEM personally open a double case against Bestgift-China, on my behalf. I can guarantee that his account WILL be shut down within a day or two, if its not down already.

I had wzuhu6666 shut down within 5 to 10 minutes of calling. Now, unfortunately, I CANNOT just call and get a Chinese scammers account closed at random, or on a whim, its only if I am personally having an issue with them. It just so happened that I just recently had a problem with both wzuhu6666, and Bestgift-China. With both sellers and with two bad transactions from each of them, I was able to start cases 2 to 3 weeks BEFORE the estimated arrival date of the items. In fact with 1 out of the 4 bad transactions I already got a refund just 3 days from opening the case, the others will refund within the next few days, most likely. It sucks for most victims, cause, unfortunately you usually have to wait until AFTER the estimated arrival date of the item, which really isn't fair, especially when the item hasn't shipped. I am fortunate that I have an account that allows me to take on the scammers asap, and ebay actually will shut them down, and suspend their accounts, based on my suggestions.

SCREW Bestgift-China, and SCREW wuzhu6666, one down, one to go, maybe even 2 down, by now, lol.

 

It would be nice if they took them down faster, I don't want to wait weeks to get my money back. I also wrote to ebay to see if they can do anything about it. If not, I'll try PayPal next.

 

Ηow did you get on that level? Possitive feedback? My account is a decade old and I have 0 negatives and neutrals, but I rarely have more than ten transactions a year, therefore my feedback has decayed.

 

The claim gets resolved faster (10 days or less) if you file through and only through Paypal over the phone. The only way you should ever file thru Ebay is if you did not pay using Paypal.

 

I don't think I can do that because we have no ebay/paypal representatives in our country. Good to know what you wrote, though. I'm waiting for the ebay reply and will see what's next.

 

Be sure to let us know how this turns out. I thought this was a second account for hzj401 and he's been one of the best China sellers I've done business with over the years.

I just went to the hbwh1 page of items for sale and don't recall hzj401 ever selling that many mp scale figures, so now I'm really curious.
