So...any news at SDCC for what hasbro MP-9 is/ may be?

I picked up one as the last MP Prime I purchased was the 2003(?) 20th Anniversary one form Walmart. Are the molds very different?

 

I picked one up at SDCC Wednesday night. It's price gouging at $160, particularly for a domestic release but at least it was a flat $160 at the Entertainment Earth booth (taxes are already included) vs. having to pay an additional $10-15 tax from TRU.com.

Anyways, this release looks like the EXACT SAME thing as the previous US release. I no longer have the original release to compare since I sold it long ago but the blues are the same, top headlights are painted yellow, same baby blue eyes and trailer interior is unpainted.

Was this exclusive only for US?

 

Vastly different. The 2003 one is huge the new one is smaller but in scale with the modern MPs. Google mp-10 mp-1 comparison pics

Did anyone who managed to place an order actually have it ship out? Paranoid hearing people have goten delay emails already and it looks likethe TRU listing was pulled...

 

I got mine ordered, and an e-mail from TRU saying July 24th to July 26th. Plus you can use youtube to do the size comparisons of the MP-10 Optimus Prime, MP-1 Optimus Prime, the MP10-V Kubianbao KBB Deformation G1 Metal Parts MP-10 Optimus Prime and the wei jiang MPP10 OP KO Optimus Prime. Plus I saw a listing for the 2017 TRU MP-10 going for $225 on ebay. Go on Youtube and watch the video\'s...the KO MMP-10 and the KBB MP-10 ar great figures based on the MP-10 mold and are a lot cheaper.

 

IIRC last time with Hasbro MP-10, TRU also did the delay emails. But eventually, most people got theirs. Some had to wait a few more weeks than others, but I believe most of the people got them.
