What was Flamesword's goal, how is he on Earth, and why is it called the Golden Knight?

 

His goal was solely to serve his master,he unleashed an ultimate weapon,bee and fixit stopped it.He has been on the island since the war.Bumblebee is actually the golden knight.

 

Flamesword's a pretty tragic character if you think about it. He pretty much spent the majority of his life wasted on that island and not being aware that the war is done long ago.

 

Yeah I actually feel bad for him.

 

Any episode with Fixit as a lead out in the field is golden

 

Wow, I absolutely loved the soundtrack on this episode.

 

Loved the Stunticons showing up at the end. They did nothing but Motormaster brought a chuckle from throwing Dragstrip. His head is... interesting. Not a bad design but It makes me think Megatron without the eyebrows or a somewhat Nemesis Prime look

 

Flamesword was a surviving Decepticon from the war who was not aware that the war ended. He was stuck on a remote island, holding the fort against potential Autobot invasion. He was a loyal Decepticon. According to Bumblebee it looked like he had spent centuries on that island and it took its toll on his health (Energon depletion among other things).

Bumblebee and Fix-it stumbled into two medieval-era cosplayers right outside the ground bridge. Fix-it introduced them as the Golden Knight and the Orange Knight wearing magical armor from the age not yet recorded (time-travelers!) as a cover story

The episode was pretty good, but the best part for me at least was the Motormaster reveal. He has a pretty badass design (aside from the oversized shoulders) and its a shame we're likely not getting a proper figure of it.

The Decepticon's name is actually Flamesnort. He was a interesting idea for a character, but leaves a bit of a continuity error as apparently he was on Earth during the events of PRIME but never got in contact with the Decepticons. Also, what would happen if that weapon WAS activated, given how Unicron's body is the core of Earth?

 

Because he was on a remote far off island and his communications weren't being received.

Then again this is Aligned where both Megatron and Overload broke Bumblebee's voice box, Optimus had a Dino Mode during the events of Prime yet only used it on Griffen Rock, Optimus had contact with a powerhouse war vet like High Tide but didn't call him, and (assuming any continuity from Takara and Hasbro are in line) the Swordbots were on Earth and Optimus could become a train and a dragon. He also didn't seem to want to inform Team Prime or the humans of the evil Demonformers on Earth.

 

Megatron and Overload both took turns breaking that yellow scouts voicebox while Soundwave took photos.
Optimus Prime: High Tide told me to f*ck off and to tell Ratchet to owe him back his energon that he stole and drank a millennia ago. He still hasn't let that go. And as for why I didn't tell them about the demoncons. That's what they get for ignoring my order and street racing endangering lives and sh*t. And me turning to a Dinobot I am 6 hundred cycles old. I do what I want.

 

So I just watched the official credits for the episode on Teletoon since the U.K. credits were the credits for Pilot (Part 1) and not this episode.

Has any episode past Disordered personalities aired in the U.S.? I've set my DVR to record but it hasn't recorded anything past Ep 10, which aired about a month ago.

 

Nope, RID has been on little hiatus in the US, but it's been airing else where. I believe the next episode (11) will be airing next Saturday (the 29th) in the US.
