    I'm gonna.

Besides, we all know @InternetExplorer will be reporting that he gets four swords anyway. Just wait.

Slight differences on the box for the japanese release, as highlighted by wotafa here:

Name is in katakana, japanese text at the bottom of the box, and what seems to be a very minor paint differences on the figure, so fingers crossed, i guess?

Hey guys, i was thinking..a Kit for MPM-04 for the Knight sword he has in the 5th movie and maybe the energon hooks. Also a second ion blaster (he used two in the second movie) just some thoughts for some third party manufacture out there. Id buy it in a hearbeat lol.

You are right i forgot about that! guess the unpainted look just through me off, i dont know why i imagined that it was the finished project. ill defiantly be following his work i guess i judged too far after i saw that hand to notice all the other great things he was working on. Thanks for reminding me lol. I am actually thinking about getting the cavalier Optimus sword to see what it looks like with mpm4, of-course its not going to tab in properly but it might look cool i still don't know if i should..

Looks like the prototype of Prime didn't had problems of tabbing. 3727.jpg

Guess we know where corners where cut.... :p
A 3D printed prototype tabs together like it is supposed to and the mass produced one doesn't. Seems qc was off on the mold tolerances.

Or maybe it was a cost thing in the sense that they may have had the fear that these figures wouldn't sell as much as a regular MP release, as G1 has a bigger following than movieverse and as such kept the cost down as much as they could compared to say MP-36

A couple of these were posted already, but here's the pics I have taken of this dude so far. More to come, no doubt. First impressions? Yeah, he's pretty cool. Bit fiddly in 'bot mode, with a few bits like the shoulders that could be better tabbed in. I haven't transformed him yet though (been a bit busy with FansToys Omega who arrived at the same time!), so let's see. He looks great though!

The diecast parts don't inspire me confidence. I hope he won't end up looking like the first MP megatron, its metal parts look corroded.

Sucks that even Sixo pics can't make this thing look good. It looks like when he transforms he would turn into one of those shitty wannabe Prime's that people build out of the wrong trucks, with the totally wrong paint jobs.

    TakaraTomy MPM-4 and TLK-20 to 31

7/31 no less. Though I don't expect a significant difference between Hasbro and Takara's release (and even suspect some Takara copies will emerge with this tabbing flaw), I will take my chances on 7/31 if retailers like HLJ are offering. I won't be able to forgive myself should I sell myself short of getting such a figure
