I decided to do a digibash of SG Cheetor from the MP. The shattered glass version was based on the unreleased Tigatron which was orange and blue. I think he'd look pretty good, but I don't expect we'll ever get an official version. SGcheetor.png

    Ok guys…
I searched this topic and couldn't find anything…

Either I'm doing something wrong, which is highly possible, or my FEET (well, Cheetor's) were assembled backwards, switched actually.
    Left/Right, etc.
The only way I can get them with the big toes on the inside of the feet, is to have the gold thighs facing backwards.
It doesn't look "bad" that way… but I know it's incorrect and its bugging me! lol

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Stupid question, I know but did you untab and swivel the crotch piece around and then fix the legs into the correct position using the hip joints?

Did you rotate the pelvis during transformation? Seriously like 50% of everyone who got the figure missed that step and claimed misassembly. The hips swing down from the waist piece and rotate, which puts the feet on right sides and the blue sides of the legs facing out.

It's actually impossible to not get them on the right side, as the legs can completely turn over at the hips and the hip section itself can rotate.

Not having the figure in front of me, I don't know for sure.
I "think" I did, but will check later and see.

Fully expecting to show up later with my own foot in my tailpipe, full of gratitude!
    Thanks guys!

That step of transformation was overlooked by many who claimed to have done it.
It is a very distinct part of transformation that if you "think" you did it, you probably didn't.
    I hope you get it!
    Cheers.

Nearly 14 months to the day since this thread started, I finally, finally got my hands on MP Cheetor.

And he's delightful! I can't say anything about him that anyone hasn't said before.

A word of warning, however: Do not ever attempt to purchase anything from Premium Collectables. They've had my money since August 2016, and refuse to even answer emails regarding the order. I'm now undertaking a chargeback process with my bank. They are crooks. Steer well clear.

In contrast - Bought, paid for an shipped internationally in a fortnight from Robot Kingdom. Fantastic service! Will purchase from again! Bring on MP Dinobot!

So, I want to really like this figure but there are few things that are preventing me. The worst thing is that whenever I try to articulate his right shoulder it becomes untabbed. I don't have the same problem with the left side. Any suggestions?

You mean when you rotate it inwards or outwards? Just loosening the screw by like hair turn will help.

When I adduct the R shoulder, the blue tab on the top part of the shoulder comes undone

Are you sure you moved the blue pieces properly and locked the shoulder all the way?

Yes. No matter how hard I tab the blue pieces are the top of the right shoulder together they untab with any movement of the shoulder

And loosening the screw didn't help?

That's weird. Mine come untabbed easy but not from normal movement. I usually have to still fulcrum them. Maybe add a dab of your prefered thickening polish to the tab for extra grip?

I mean, there's not much more I or anyone can tell you. It just means the shoulder joint is stronger than the tab itself, and there's really only two ways to solve it. Loosen the former or tighten the latter.

Ooh... The waist peg broke off when I tried to transform it. Another area to watch out for when transforming yours.

I just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago. I had recently decided to make the jump into Beast Wars so I got Cheetor and Primal at the same time.
Cheetor is an excellent figure, but the beast mode is a bit fiddly for posing. Now I am just waiting for my jungle backdrop from Toyhax so I can do a photo session!

Definitely share that! I’m all in for creating cool dioramas for my BW MPs. Was just fiddling with my Cheetor yesterday too and honestly can’t understand why the beast mode gets criticised so harshly. Granted, it takes a bit of work to get him into decent poses and the midsection is floppy but once he’s posed he looks amazing!

Look, all the abuse is getting the poor fella down.

All I can say is this line is producing the most enjoyable and satisfying figures of my lifetime.

Yep. I did not mean to imply that I did not like the figure. As you said, takes a little extra effort to pose the beast mode. It is, however, well worth it.
