6 chaos on velocitron sets on old Spanish trail Tru in Houston. Lots of Megatron, skull iron, and Optimus. Two cybertron. Two Soundwave. Hotrod, twin ferns, highbrow, trigger happy.

Forgot to mention there were a couple Skullitrons at that TRU too. Almost got one, but was really looking for TLK Voyager Megatron (and Octane... but that's probably never happening now0. Which I didn't find there or at the Target up the road. :/

 

Dude I gotta say, it wouldn't be a bad idea to double dip with Megatron. The voyager does a few things better than the leader does from what I've seen, and vice versa. Like the leader's battle mask flip and altmode are sublime. The voyager is soooo nice though. I also pricematched mine to a discounted voyager on walmart.com for 22 rather than 26

 

I was on the fence with the Voyager TLK Optimus so I waited to see what Hasbro would do with their Leader version. The AOE Leader one seemed OK with the chrome, but the back-kibble, & lack of paint-detail didn't sway me enough to get it either. After the phenomenal ROTF Leader version, the AOE one seemed over-simplified, kibbly, & hollow. Having said that, I've been missing having a new Western-Star Movie Prime in my Collection lately.

So, after seeing Takara's "Armored Knight" Optimus & their upcoming "TLK Caliber Prime" I gave in and pre-ordered it. It has chrome, detailed paint, re-molded parts, a better head sculpt, rubber tires, and a detachable back-kibble/shield for a slimmer, more movie-accurate look.


BUT, I would still like to get the Voyager TLK one, if it pops up locally in-store.   So has anyone in SA seen one lately?

 

yes i have both the voyager TLK prime as well as the AD-31 Leader Prime from AOE. but last time i saw some of the TLK voyager primes was before the walmart restocks of wave 2. but maybe some of the targets have it still. i feel it might be a bit too late to get the voyager prime.

 

I missed out on bomber megs back in the day, and now I'm debating if I should get him as TLK megs (the toys r us)
but I can't justify 20 bucks for him, and 25 bucks for the voyager. The voyager is kinda uncommon where I am right now (lots of grimlock repaints and optimus, who is also pretty neat, but again I can't just buy all the transformers) but 20 dollars for a deluxe...

got my velocitron set yesterday from the san pedro tru and today got one megatron and one skullitron from the same tru. left one megatron

 

Has anyone found mpm-03 in their toys r us yet?

 

I don't think they were announced for US release, were they? And usually the new MP stuff comes out after SDCC in August or September

 

I thought it said that toys r us was supposed to carry them? Or was that for other countries?

 

 

Yes, they're TRU exclusives, but they haven't made it stateside yet.

Dunno about you guys, but I'm sorely tempted. However, I think that's mainly due to my burning desire to own it NOW, which, yeah....

 

Monday at 4pm, 2 Cybertrons (at front), 2 chaos velocitrons (regular spot in AF section) at Katy Mills TRU.

 

Time to practice patience  

 

While I don't disagree, I'm kind of shocked that we haven't seen him yet. He's been out for a good while in some countries, and if he doesn't hit Texas within the month, I'll regret not jumping on that deal...

And while we're on the subject of a lack of sightings, what the heck is up with Hot Rod?!?! I sure hope this doesn't turn into HA Mudflap all over again.... (for those that might not know, he's going for $300+ these days, which is why I'm selling my modded HA Skids)
