It works I guess, don't get me wrong I despise the feet on the Hasbro version but considering that Optimus and Ginrai are two different characters it does fit, at least for me.

 

Was sitting on the fence about getting this one. The photos have swayed me, as others have said he would make a good Nemesis Prime.
Now the big conundrum. Which to go after at HTS, this one or the other one(TLK Prime). Plus, will there be any left to post online. S'cuse the stupid chatter.
What's the routine(if any) for these being posted online at HTS. Or is it anybodies guess and keep refreshing the page(s).

 

Well, just because they use the Takara feet doesn't mean they have to call him Ginrai, they could still call him Optimus Prime. I'm not saying they needed to do that though, just that that would have been my preference.

 

I\'m getting KO black hexatron vibe from it... I know it\'s solid but it just doesn\'t look the part to me. I think I\'ll pass; I happen to be very happy with my normal powermaster prime. Something about him just says \"cheap\". The rail gun is a nice touch though.

 

I wonder if the rail gun was an intentional pun.

 

I'm liking this deco. I kinda wish we could get the Takara feet and arms just for articulation's sake but I'm still happy for a chance to own that chest tooling without feeling like I'm just buying an inferior Ginrai (hence why I skipped PMOP altogether.) Also love the accessories; it's a spin on titanmaster play value.
Also some great photos in there. Love the little shot with dudes riding Grindor.

 

I was a pro amateur Skater and I skated for 21 years so this has my name all over it! I love the gold, I don't have that mold other then the Takara so that's cool too

 

I think they usually go up around 2 weeks after SDCC ends. Last year (maybe previous years as well?), there were also more that went up on the HTS eBay page later on.

 

I like how he can grind sick tricks on a rail that converts to a rail gun to grind him enemies with.

I'm new at buying exclusives this year and I appreciate the information.

 

I LOVE the colors on this guy. I'd love to grab this Prime, but I cannot afford to fly from WI to CA for these shows. Hopefully, I can nab him on HTS.

 

There's always a thread each year in the Toy Discussion for tracking when SDCC exclusives go up on HTS - it's usually a pretty big mess of off-topic stuff and useful information

It sounded it to me at the time but i assure you there is a difference. One your paid weekly/bi-weekly, one you just get swag. Iwas never paid regularly. It's been awhile since I'm 40 now but there was 21 years i skated & I still teach skateboarding as a side gig. But mostly stay off the thing.
