The guns replace the super Ginrai guns, and just because your godbomber has loose elbows doesn't mean they all do

 

I believe his big guns attach to each other to form one big gun, so he can either carry both weapons, or store the sword possibly and carry the bigger gun, with the smaller guns mounted on his back. I believe the smaller sword will be replaced by thebiggerone.

 

For me its a little bit of an issue where transformation from his vehicle to bot requires giving his guns to someone else.

I am also quite sure his arms cannot hold his big sword up... so lets see I guess.

Its not as clear cut buy as pc 16 for me.

 

I seriously hope the arm filler pieces for Godbomber provide a much more secure connection for his arms.

Godbomber's arms connect at a single connecting point in the bicep, and in most cases, it isn't enough to keep the forearm from falling off.

I don't know if anyone can tell from the pictures we've been shown, but does it look like the arm filler pieces provide more connection points between the bicep and the forearm for Godbomber's robot mode? (Honest question.)

But technically they're not godbombers guns. Despite what the pictures indicate, they're supposed to replace the ones that come with super Ginrai, just like the sword replaces the one that comes with godbomber

 

i mean you can peg the bfgs into the for arms by plunging them into the holes in the for arm wings but the arms will fall off so hope the arm filers fix that

 

In the pics you can see that in god ginrai mode that he has both the gjnrai guns on wings and the big new guns in hand

The new big guns do not replace ginrais guns...wbich he keeps...i think they are intended for godbomber...but how can he hold guns this heavy looking with his arms?

 

Honestly it really just seems like you're looking for something to complain about. Sorry if that's not the case, but it really seems that way

 

I just noticed this shows he needs to parts form to get from bot to vehicle mode being the arms fillers.

Currently he is not required to partsform to get from vehicle to bot with the exception of the head...which is common practice and the norm for head masters.

 

Sorry i come across that way i have an OCD i guess on partsforming. Took me ages to be ok with titans return line and thats just having to remove the head for the transformation... i just like my transformers to transform...removing parts or having to take out parts and put it somewhere to get from bot to vehicle just seems like cheating...sorry if i sound like i complain

 

It's all good, sorry if my comment comes across as harsh. But seriously if you dislike partsforming then I recommend you steer clear of upgrade kits because most upgrade kits require partsforming of some kind to work

 

I really have a hard time believing Perfect Effect was going to squeeze another upgrade kit out of LG-35 but damned if they did.
I had a harder time believing that I was going to buy another upgrade kit for LG-35 but looks like I am.

 

Hey guys, I'm posting here because I figure most fans of this set own/panning to get some combination of PC-15, PC-16, PC-17, and PC-18.

I just got Magnus Prime, like the mold a lot, however I already have an Optimus I love, and I've reused other Optimus Prime molds I've loved at other characters (Great Convoy, Sureshot, etc.) I want to take Magnus Prime and treat him as his own character, and to help with that I want to upgrade and repaint him so he has a transforming cab that is a powermaster Magna Convoy, and the rest of the body is a general homage to Delta Magnus colors. I'm trying to figure out what sets I should get to minimize that work.

Will the PC-20 set work with the PC-15 set? I figured I would get PC-20 since I still like the Titanmaster head gimmick and he already has black legs, just have to paint the cab blue. Then PC-15 gets me the powermaster as well and then I can pick up PC-18. Anyone more familiar with the sets can give me some advice?

not seeing the point in this kit. god ginrai didn't have giant sized boosters so those are irrelevant. He never (that I recall) used a sword like that, so it is also irrelevant. This could be cut to just 2 guns and forearm fillers and cut the price. I love the last 2 kits (mostly) but this seems like a big waste to me.

 

I think this will all work, in principle. One word of caution, though - any of PC-16, 17 or 20 will come with a new chestplate to replace the stock one (all three are different - 16 is quite thin so that the powermaster is visible, 17 looks more "Ultra Magnus-y" and 20 looks most like the stock Hasbro Prime chest). If you get PC-20 and want to use a powermaster, you'll have to either skip the chestplate or modify it pretty seriously.

I think there's a difference between something being non-canonical and being irrelevant. That the original Godbomber had tiny wings does not mean that the new one must have tiny wings. I'm actually pretty happy with the new boosters as they give the combined mode a nice profile. Not sure what to do with them on Godbomber alone, but PE usually comes up with something for that.

 

I think it's to make it match his appearance in Victory better. I really like the looks of the over the top additions.

I don't have any of the other sets though I do like the LED head. I have this set on pre-order with TT GG chrome set and Wheelie with Shuta so I can have all the Autobot Headmaster Jrs in the chest armor.

 

I'm mostly interested in God Ginrai's combined mode, so this kit is actually the one I want the most. I've got no objection to something that makes Ginrai look even bigger and badder.

Now if only we got something similar for Overlord......
