Thanks very much for the review! I have the model kit Megatron, and I want that little Optimus to go with him! I hope they make a model kit version of him too; it would be fun to build him myself. Love how he looks!

Wow. If you ever try communicating in a second language, I hope people treat you with more encouragement and less rudeness. All I can say is if you think that's a thick accent, you really need to step outside your local bubble more. There are a lot of dialects of English besides the one you speak in Arizona.

I was kinda thinking of picking these up, but I've already got a clear megs and a plain megs so a little bit of paint later and I've got this.
Needs detailing paint apps yet but already looking real nice. I would like the prime but not paying for a superfluous figure, if they release him as a standalone unpainted one I'll pick that up.

I don't think I'm nervous or anything... but if you'd check my channel you'd have noticed that I'm actually French... thats why the preview image of the video has "ENGLISH" written on it... it's because I did the same review but also in french :)  Altho I do believe I have a somewhat good english pronunciation it's always good for me to do reviews in english... making extra effort to reach more... and practice makes perfect :)

Your English is WAY better than my French. I appreciated the video. Thanks for taking the time to record the thing twice!

Nice video Tef. Your english is pretty excellent! I had no idea you were french before I came to comment on the video here after wathing it. I was wondering why you referred to OP's alt mode as a van instead of a truck lol.

You did a great job. Your English was excellent, and your accent (which wasn't that strong) was not at all an impediment to understanding you; I thought everything was perfectly clear.

Thanks for the review Tef! The review was easy to follow; the technical quality (sound, lighting etc) was good. I appreciated the comparisons to other versions of the characters. It gave me a much idea how they would look on my shelf mixed with other 3p legends.

Damn, I'm not used to such positive feedback haha :D  its all very appreciated everyone! Thanks! :)

Dont be shy to like, comments and subscribes, I got another nice big order coming in soon from BBTS which many more reviews will flow hehe :D

BACK to the figures and on topic... what I forgot to mention in the review, is that if any parts begins to loosen... EVERY joints are screws... no rivets... so its super easy to just tighten the joints... my OP's waist was beginning to be a tiny bit floppy... tighten the screw of the waist... 1/8th of a turn and boom fixed!

Mine came today. I snapped a couple quick pictures before kids got me too busy (and my eldest stole Optimus).
IMG_6209.JPG IMG_6211.JPG I really like both figures. There are flaws (open arms, gap in OP's bot mode between chest and obliques) but they have great looking bot modes, solid alts (better than HS02 by a million) and are decent (though not great) materials.

Did these guys ever get names beyond GT-5?

Optimus looks great despite the hollowness (I can forgive that on a legends figure). Is that Megatron the same as Tyrant? Looks pretty much the same, the kbb ko of that is pure garbage though

Yeah these are both the same as the kit figures.

Has there been any mention of a trailer for Optimus?

Does anyone with these guys in-hand have any DX9 War in Pocket Autobots they could snap a scale comparison pic with? I'm curious how OP scales with their Autobots.

Funny, I must be the only person the video review turned off. I realized that I'm at the point of having so many primes that a new one must WOW me to get it, and this one just didn't.
