Anyways, no need for me to preorder any TLK figures. I'm good with them either showing up on HTS or just showing up in store. Only ones I plan to get are Megatron (voyager), Megatron (deluxe), Nitro, Cogman, and Skullitron. Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs are a big maybe on my list.

It's still a significant size upgrade over the original version of the combiner

 

Combiners need to be Leader-Class or bigger, as we've seen in Combiner Wars. This is nothing. This is pathetic.

As I always say: Go big or go home.

 

Except this particular combiner is nowhere near that size in the fiction, he was relatively small in the movie, granted larger scale wise than this figure is, but nowhere near the size of a cw combiner.

Although I do disagree with the notion he was smaller then a CW Combiner. I think if he was CW sized he'd scale well with Voyager Optimus. Of course you can't get any more bit-character then Infernicus, so I don't think he deserves enough attention to be that big.

 

And you don't represent all kinds of collectors out there.

 

Oh, the torso's bigger than Legion Class. Cool, but yeah, it's still too small. Considering all the in-movie components are identical, you'd think Hasbro could've dedicated at least one Deluxe mold to this guy. Well, maybe two, since all of them having a combined mode head would be weird and probably take up too much plastic.

 

I am legitimately impressed by the new torso. Can't wait to get the guy in hand.

Not sure if he will "feel" better with the typical Deluxe/Voyager crowd or with my dwindled Legion/Commander collection.

Worth noting for those of you with the Voyager Blackout mold, assuming that Prime hasn't changed size much between movies, Infernicus is almost exactly the same size as Grindor. And he should scale well with the Dinobots he never met!

 

The torso turned out so well I wish all the limbs were new to match that quality. (And to give him his massive arm cannons)

Why would we care what your headcanon is?

 

Why is it that this one thread always gets derailed by some nonsensical argument usually caused by someone with an arrogance issue?

 

Infernocus might have a good future ahead, if some 3rd party makes limb-bots and includes the BFG. I could see another "ROTF Bruticus" situation happening.
