Ok, got news from Baba (ebay seller) that he is actually receiving the product next week.

 

It just looks so... bad.  

How can this toy take itself even remotely serious in being in the same league as Masterpiece caliber product? even that Wei Jiang OS Generations Arcee looks better and more complete.

Did the Impossible Toys crew design this? I ask because seriously, where the hell is her rear Vehicle section at? did a Sharkticon eat if off?  

Toyworld really dropped the ball on what could have potentially been a beautifully designed piece of Art. I feel if the cut the price down it would warrant the poor design. But I suppose the designer needs to be able to pay his next Car Payment.

 

It looks like a pretty good botmode, looking forward to seeing it in person.

 

Even with the smashed butterface, I won't deny that bot mode is pretty. (bikini body and all)
It's should just be an action master then. Why even bother with that poor excuse of an alt mode at all? (It also would have cut down on parts count thereby making it cheaper.)  

 

Mp-39 doesn't have the best robpt mode
Its better in vehicle mode

Also [MP-39 head] looks like it's short a couple chromosomes.

 

I'm picking this one up on the assumption that FT's Rouge will be pushed back a few more times. That being said, I will probably end up kicking myself a ton if Toyworld releases a Paradron Medic recolor. I'd prefer to have a FT Arcee and a TW Paradron Medic than two Arcees.

Nightbird has shit to do with Arcee, so stop using her mold to make them.

 

Who else has done it aside from Takara? I really don't mind having Nightbird as an Arcee retool, honestly. She was pretty much a one-off character that didn't even have an altmode in the first place. As a result, I'd be OK with either a super detailed Nightbird that doesn't transform, or one that doesn't turn into an altmode that's a 100% copy of some other character. I'd be OK with her turning into just about anything except something dumb like a soda machine or a blender.

 

She should turn into a Predatory Bird, hence her name.

I suppose that I can always re-purpose Toyworld's Arcee as Cheesecake Robot featured in the G1 episode Starscream's Ghost.

What's the ETA on this figure? Toyworld recently shipped a bunch of figures (Coolsville, Spanner, Crank, clear Spaceracer) and this does not appear to be part of that shipment, so I'm curious when it might ship and if it will still hit the July ETA. Thanks.
