Absolutely no regrets that I went with this version. I love BW as much as you guys but I just love the way the colors pop on this figure and since it more or less matches his BW II colors, that's good enough for me to consider these colors "canon".

Any good places to still get Cheetor for a decent price? I might as well get him before Dinobot goes on PO and avoid falling way behind on MP BW's figures.

I'd love to see this next to the DX Telemocha figure that's the straight redeco. The original toy in show-accurate colours next to the show-accurate toy in toy-accurate colours.

Have you installed batteries in your mp-38 yet? If so, would you take a photo of the light up gimmick with the mutant mask on?
I just noticed while futzing with my Optimus Primal (mp-32) that he has a light up surface on the back of his head that only illuminates when it's turned around that direction!

 

I'm THIS close to bite the bullet on this one but I'm willing to wait a bit to see if they eventually release it in Universe colours so I can repurpose it as a different character.

 

This mold sure can be used for so many colours, more repaint coming up in future.

People who like the Universe deco are crazy? Eh, I've been called worse.   It's the only repaint I would still want from this mold. Glad for the people who dig this one. It's just not for me. The bananas are a fun little thing.

 

The best part about the Universe deco is that it can easily be repurposed as a Predacon. In fact, I'm counting on Takara to make it that way if they release MP-38 on those colours.

 

Heh, like I said I hope they do one just for you crazy people   I think it's the already muddy colour scheme of brown, magenta, dark green and black combined with the blinding almost neon yellow that puts me off.
