I still have a die cast Lamborghini model car from the 80s that looks EXACTLY like MP12+. Now I can put it on eBay or wherever people might look for one. A transforming Lambo is a lot better  

 

Well wasn't Megatron v1 released again a year or so before v2 came out this year? The only things I really want them to fix is an anime accurate face sculpt and a collapsible chest. Just make the sides slide inward over the hood. Hmmm, but would that make the arms stick out too much?

They could do something similar to Maketoys Downbeat. Is that the only figure so far that has used that trick? I don't have mp12 so I don't know how his shoulders work, would it be impossible to bring them closer together?

 

What's up with them NOT correcting the tolerances on that door flap that pulls down.

 

It's more than a collapsible chest. Fix that and you are left with his wide backpakc you can now see from the front. To fix that you would most likely have to swich the side windows from underneath the roof to his arms. For everything you fix you then have to fix something else

 

The + version cleans up nicely in both modes . Loving it .

 

I assume they wanted to leaving something for the fans to complain about.

 

So is his toon face version gray or silver? I really wanted a matching gray with sunstreaker

 

Both he and Sunstreaker have white painted faces. Same as Inferno and Grapple.

 

His Autobot insignia is literally as big as his head haha 

 

Because Megatron is a top 5 Transformer character and Sideswipe is not. So, again, I highly doubt we'll see a Sideswipe V2. It's not impossible, but highly unlikely.

 

I didn't notice the red detailing on the windows. That looks fantastic! And it also looks to be a consistent shade of red. Very excited about that.

The back looks phenomenal. This release is getting too much hell from people that don't deserve to complain. MP-12+ is going to be a cherished piece.

No, but he does come with all three pile driver variations from all of the releases and exclusives.

Yeah, it's a bit too big, but the shape is *perfect.*

 

MP-5 is ten years old and out of scale. I don't think anyone was buying one to display with modern masterpieces. MP-5 and MP-36 serve different functions.

Honestly I don't think we need another Sideswipe. People complain about BW and Movie stuff taking MP slots, yet they want second goes at characters with perfectly fine molds. Very tempted to pick one of these up.
