I wish they didn\'t make the pilot seat tan.  It stands out in bot mode in the center of the chest

Another terrible official seeker?  No thanks.  I already got stung enough times buying this overpriced, floppy crap.

From what I have seen elsewhere on the boards, they'll show up eventually...maybe a surprise Christmas arrival! At this point, we know the cone heads to be disappointing, poorly built, poorly QC'd, expensive statues - so what's the rush? haha

I have switched over to another account from my old one for potential business purposes, you can find my other posts as member: tunaflash.

I would also consider that being critical is not the same thing as being negative. My opinions are formed from actual ownership of these items, and the same characters as made by different manufacturers.

Seems due to the fact that they're not wide Japanese releases, they're Hasbro Asia/TT Mall exclusives. I'd bet all the non-Starscream MP-11 jets were only created by TT at the request of Hasbro Asia. The recent wide release TT Starscream reissue was around $100 on the other hand.

Remember when someone contacted TT a while back asking if they were going to release Thundercracker and Skywarp in Japan using the MP-11 mould, and whatever rep replied that those characters had already been released (as MP-6 and MP-7)?

I know there's some seeker fatigue on these boards but maybe it's even more extensive in Japan? Or at least maybe TT seem to think it is. Even Skywarp and Thundercracker were only available as TTMall exclusives in Japan. Perhaps TT's way of generating interest at home was to make them more exclusive - the exclusive nature meant that they could charge more, helping to pay for the new moulds required for each release.

At the same time, if and when TT get around to doing a V3 Seeker mould they can safely release all of them in the mainline, as the likes of Thundercracker and Skywarp won't have been available as regular releases since MP-6 and MP-7. Who knows when that will happen, or if TT are really taking that into consideration. But I think so.

Maybe using Hasbro Asia is just a way of them gauging general interest for the MP line in markets outside Japan?

The cheaper one will come with MP 45 where they release the cartoon accurate version. Come on Takara, please rerelease all the seekers with cartoon accuracy. Your fans will LOVE it.

Takara can actually be contacted? By the end consumer? If so, what's their email because I'd like to order some parts & accessories.

There's a customer service number on the bottom of the box. Doubt you can order parts and accessories especially since you don't live in Japan.

It should be one in the instructions, but I wouldn't hold my breath you live outside of their service area. I know they have done replacement stuff for people in Japan but I'm seriously doubt that extends to outside japan and buying parts/accesories from them.
