Wow. I generally don't bother with the rage threads, but now I want to see how they got around to that particular brand of ignorance.

Sweet. May need to track one down once the next pay cheque is in.

Nightmare neighbours. Can't live with them, can't toss them in an industrial meat grinder...

Hence forth known as a Rodentus special.

I was trying to infer I only needed assistance cooking for a humorous Prince/Marilyn Manson Myth swerve punchline to a sexist premise but that's a swing and a miss then.

But...do you like toffee or not? If the answer's no then I've just wasted £1.50.

Worked in a bank in a rough area and on my first week there had a bloke who didn't like what I told him waited for me to finish work so he could take his frustrations out on me. Absolute berk, he only lasted about half an hour before getting bored and going off to expose himself at the pet shop window or whatever his type does for fun.

They're the sort of people who would get confused from seeing themselves on TV as they walked past Curry's window.

Arseholes everywhere! After I graduated I worked a single week as one of those clipboard wankers who hang around stores asking you to sign up to the store credit card, and had to deal with my fair share of dickheads. I approached one guy to ask if he was interested (I never did a hard sell), he declined in very strong terms, I said no problem walked off, and he then proceeded to track me down to a different part of the store 5 mins later howling at me like a maniac (how dare you! I'm very busy! Get a real job! Your parents must be disappointed in how you turned out). I'd like to say I told him to eat shit and die, but alas I just smiled and nodded.

Could be worse, I know a girl who worked in one of those weird video rental/ tanning salon places years ago. She said it was scary the amount of people who shat or pissed in the tanning booths.

Calidus arrived from Kapow today - he's a pretty nice figure, like MTME Rodimus stepped out of the comic. I agree with @motorthing that the box is utter shite, though - hard to believe it's the same company that made the packaging for Sphinx. Also, his smirk is a more of a snarl and not much different from the serious face (it's the "smirk" face in all my photos, though you'd never know it).

Had a chance to have a wee play with the MMC Rodimus and gotta say he's a tiny bit disappointing. Bot mode is great and looks the part, solid articulation and that. Yellow chest expanse is a bit bland but will be broken up with an Autobot logo so no worries there. Alt mode is fairly cool too, but getting there is a bollox. Like the Boreas/Anubis/Jaegertron mould they have getting all the things to line up for tabbing is a real pain. Thighs need to be rotated the correct amount on each side, and the same for the fold up arms. I'm sure aftera few goes back and forth I'll learn the best way to line things up but right now he is sitting in a not quite 100% lined up alt mode. It still looks fine, but I know it's a tiny bit out in few places, and it took a lot of work to get it in to not perfect shape.

But all said and done he's still pretty cool and I do like him, I was just hoping for something as playable as Titanika or Kultur but got, possibly, an even worse than Jaegertron instead. 7.63548264926453 out of 10.

Come on, @barry, one must maintain a little mystery, otherwise romance is out the window.

Have you tried watching one of the video reviews on YouTube? The transformation instructions are absolutely pants, and make the whole thing a lot harder than it should be. For instance, they tell you to collapse the lower half into the chest before you've even transformed the legs, when it's easier to do that as the last step. And they tell you to pull down the chest *before* untabbing it. I got frustrated and watched a video, and it turns out that if you ignore the instructions and do things in a different order, it's a really simple transformation. The only part that is rubbish is the way you are supposed to turn the head around, which will result in scratching the nose or crest, so I just leave it facing forward, as it still fits for the transformation that way.

I LOVE his alt-mode, but the bot mode looks stiff, his head is way too far back on his chest/shoulders, and the arm spikes are daft. I mean, I WILL buy him, but I'm really holding out for SXS' Hot Flame for bot mode loveliness.

Tell you what, though, they could get a decent Getaway/Breakaway out of that Calidus mold..........

Yeah, watched a vid last night. It's not that the process is hard, and I've not looked in the instructions yet it's more, as an example, the waist needs to be square, with the correct thigh rotation on both legs and both being kept parallel to each other and all of which can go out of alignment easily. Not complex, just a faff and not super fun. I've fiddled with it loads and I'm not satisfied I've perfectly nailed it. It looks good enough, but *I* know it's not perfect.

So it looks like TLK is being universally panned... Sounds about right.

MovieBob on YouTube gives a particularly funny review.

Just to be clear; no, I am not super giddy about Trypticon arriving in a matter of weeks. Also, Swerve's leathered.
