That has been happening since Dark Cybertan and not one story was derailed only put on hold or move to the side.

The only reason there are re-numberings happening after First Strike is because the other Hasbro books are being combined into team-up books. That's (obviously) not happening to the TF titles, so there's no reason to re-number them.

 

That is definitely Legends Groove instead of Deluxe Groove. Defensor boobplate ftw!

No, that is Bluestreak. That is how Bluestreak has looked throughout all of IDW, ever since the twin titles of RID and MTMTE started in the first place. Smokescreen is a much lighter blue, versus Bluestreak's blue tinted grey. Also, Bluestreak was explicitly shown as one of Getaway's conspirators alongside Grapple and Riptide, and has been used off and on as a secondary character in MTMTE, while Smokescreen has only been a background character since ... well basically since IDW first got the license.

Edit: Also, Smokescreen has a yellow head crest, instead of Prowl and Bluestreak's red.
