Agreed, I like the black on him, SW is still bad ass too though.

 

I think most people just wanted ratbat at the time and as such couldn't justify spending getting sounblaster just for ratbat. I was in that camp. Much later I changed my mind and picked it up.

 

I have had this issue on both Grapple and Inferno. You might also see paint wear on the two tabs that plug into the sides of the ladder base (the white flaps) if it's also painted.

My Artfire (also from AE) arrived yesterday! This is such a great mold, although I do think Inferno is just a little nicer than Artfire.
The targetmaster (Nightstick) is pretty cool; I especially like the way he can click onto Artfire's chrome nozzle clips. This guy just has so many guns, it's insane.

Nightstick is kinda a Ratbat situation for me - I know it exists to incentive me to buy the repaint, but I don't wanna. I just want this new little guy, and hope for a way to buy it on its own (likely a KO) in the future.

 

Ok screw it guys I've caved.

Bought an Artfire just to steal his helmet and faces to make a toy-accurate Grapple. I'll sell all the rest of him on in any form anyone wants - if you want the whole thing to keep in altmode, or just the targetmaster, or just the frickin' arms to make your Inferno more toy accurate (I'm well used to disassembling these MPs by now).

Soundblaster was a really great release and if Blaster is indeed coming up he will pay off even more when they do Twincast. Maybe he gets another run then too? Rumors for now. But his purple chest plate alone was worth the purchase to me because no toy had ever had it. I certainly never thought he would be squaring off against MP Artfire, but that's the secret formula of this line.

 

Yes I've been waiting for them to Blaster and hope they do it soon. Also I'm sure the Twincast will be just as great with the blue popping out!

Is anyone else waiting for a translation of Artfire's extended bio? Usually Soundwave's Oblivion blog does this but it is taking him a while.
