A Chicago premiere was confirmed last week I think, so this all makes sense. Hope the bee Camaro is at this carpet since he was not at the London one.
Yeah, word is the Lyric Opera House is where the Premiere is being held. I got a ticket from Aintitcoolnews, and a friend of mine got his on gofobo. Bringing my 07 Blu-ray in case I can get Bay to sign it.
So Ford denies Hasbro the license for the Mustang, but allows it for a glorified balloon? I'm starting to think these guys have no sense of priorities at all! (But yes, those are kinda awesome. In a strange way, but still awesome. If they filled those with helium at the Premiere and have the 'Transformers' stage an 'aerial battle', it would be even more awesome.) (And also, Chicago, huh? Ironic.)
Interesting note, is this area it's at, has been in the last few films. Down the river is the old Post Office, that served as NEST's headquarters in DOTM, and the building across from it, was one in which one of the drones crashed and shattered glass. The ironic part? In AOE, when Bee snags a boat and throws it at the drone ships chasing them, it's anchored in almost the same spot as this barge!
