You can't see this, but I am frowning at you right now.

It can't really make for a good Sari toy if the original toy is complete trash.

what is your major malfunction, man?
I would assume you just had an irrational hatred for Windblade if you didn't bring up the RID mold. That's where the true insanity begins.

I don't care about Windblade, never read any of the comics. but the T30 mold can't make a "good" Sari toy because it can't even make a good Winblade toy. I would rather have a mold that looks a little worse(RID2015) but is alot more solid then the absolute travesty that is the T30 mold.

    mold. fixes. are. a thing.
and who cares if the mold is a little flimsy? are you playing with your toys? bashing them together? or displaying them? Don't say she can't stand up either, there's lots of fixes for that.
I never thought I'd be defending anything that had to do with Windblade, this is pretty amusing actually.

Yes, who even plays with their toys right? just have them stand there and do nothing, thats what they're for, obviously.
"Mold fixes are a thing" you can't fix bad design, you might as well make a new toy at that point.

Yeah, kids do. I stopped playing with toys when I was 14. Most normal complex Transformers aren't even good for playing, every piece gets knocked out of place and it's kinda difficult to stage a battle when you have to take five minutes to transform each individual character.
But if you somehow find a way to do it, well good for you.

As long as that toy isn't the RID mold. But I missed the memo when tabs and unstable heels became unfixable.

I keep seeing the "shampoo bottle plastic" term being used and I wonder if some of you have ever even held a shampoo bottle.

Alright, lets just go through the flaws T30 Windblade has
    Jet mode:
it has a giant hole in the middle of it
the back fin never wants to tab in all the way, so it has an ugly split
the hands are very clearly visible from the bottom, so is the chest
alot of stuff in general just doesn't tab in that well
its so light that it actually feels like it could float away

    Transformation:
awful process, nothing locks in well, the joints that take the hands/wings to the chest feel extremely fragile and are super thin
the way the chest works is just bad, everything is so thin and it feels like if i pressed too hard it would just snap everything
the nosecone just lazily folds to the back, making no real attempt to hide

    Robot mode:
the abdomen has ugly kibble on the back, making it look fat
the shoulders can't go forwards more then 90 degrees before you have to bring the Wing assembly with it, which looks dumb no matter what you do
the hips suck, because of the sculpt she can't go outward in certain positions
there is literally a giant hole in the side of her chest that you can see through
the pieces that connect the elbows to the shoulders are super thin and look ugly
and as already mentioned, the heels suck, and they don't suck because of QC, they suck because they are badly designed and have no way of locking in

but yeah instead of just using a better mold, or making a new mold entirely, lets try to fix a trainwreck. good idea.

You might be insane. If your standards for transformers are this high, I don't know how you've made it this far.

I'm insane for wanting transformers to preform some very basic functions?
    mmmk.

Insane gets thrown around way too much. It's a specific medical diagnosis. I know because I played a doctor on TV.

    Egg drainal? Is that you?

Dunno. A psychologist friend told me a long time ago that people are no longer categorized as "sane" and "insane." Rather, they are now categorized as "already been diagnosed" and "has not been diagnosed yet" ;)

A lot of collectors are very "anal retentive" almost to the point of being seen as "crazy" by "normal people"

Yes. I once had a friend tell me that his figure was ruined because of a blemish on the face. He gave me the toy, FREE. To this day I still can't see this blemish he's talking about.

toys have come with bases for years, stability is always an issue. everything else you mentioned is nitpicking.
I guess it just doesn't bother me much, lean it against something. anyway, again, the point is the design is way better looking, which I know you also disagree with
