You... talking to me? Because I don't even know what you said. Like ruined because they're in the movie? Ruined because the toys don't do the prop cars justice? What? You just made a weird vague comment and doubled down as though you were aggressively challenged.
I still don\'t understand why they released that crappy AOE repaint Bee when they\'re just going to release this much better-looking, much more accurate one. I guess Hasbro figured they\'ve gotta milk the Bee popularity and release the lazy repaint first since the kids haven\'t seen the movie yet and don\'t know the difference. Then the more accurate one comes later when the movie releases so now the kids have to have that one too!
Yeah, I can\'t agree that any of the AoE or TLK are amazing, most of them are sub par when compared to movie figures from the first two movies. The quality really bit the dust with DotM and has not recovered...period. (Yes I\'m aware there are exceptions here and there) I\'ve already got all of the deluxe wave two Premier figures and i can say that quality wise, Steelbane is a piece of trash! He looks very cool in knight mode, but every single joint was so loose right out of the package, he couldn\'t stand up in either mode. I had to apply copious amounts of super glue on every single ball joint. I tried Future before the super glue, but it refused to stick to this vinyl crap plastic he\'s made out of and peeled off with every move. The rest of the line aren\'t much better. Loose joints and severely limited poseability. I don\'t have any of the wave two Voyager yet so can\'t say. also, Premier doesn\'t mean Premier as in first class or extra anything, it simply means First or ahead of schedule like the early Premier of a movie before general release.
If you look at the properly transformed renders of this new Bee compared to BBBB, other than size this new mold is vastly superior really. And about that knocking off 5 bucks, Wal-Mart is selling all the Tlk mainline figures for 4 or 5 dollars less than everywhere else. This amazing figure will only cost $16 at our good ol local Walmart.
It looks like Crosshairs does come with the same guns as the AOE version. Oh also I thought that TLk Crosshairs was just a repaint of AOE but I\'m glad to be wrong so I can get him. I can now give him double duel wield guns! Oh and that Bumblebee looks OKAY. Battle Blades BB is still the best version IMO but this one isn\'t bad and I will be getting both. AOE BB will be custom painted so hopefully I can show you all in the radicons My only nitpick is that BB doesn\'t come with the hammer
Here's a quick refresher of the previous AOE Crosshairs weapon arsenal This TLK release does not come with the same guns, as his grenades haven't been present up to now, and his Tec-9 x2 is now much more shorter, boxier, and film accurate. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jOUIt-bNZPM/maxresdefault.jpg
I'm not sure what is and isn't accurate to the films I just know every movie Bee I know has had this, but glad to see they found a better option for the kibble than just having the rear of the car dangling off the back of the legs. As long as the roof if mistransformed in robot mode (and I don't need to see what is presumable a pin and hinge to tell me how likely that is) I might have to pick this up. Again, talking about what suits the figure again over accuracy to a film I might not go and see, but I wish the windows were tinted. Just makes sense. They are robots in disguise and are often lacking drivers so best to obscure that and they are toy robots in disguise with a bunch of robot parts in place of an interior so best to obscure that. Nice to see some silver at least. Finally, do we know if they've dropped the plasma cannon over/in place of the arm or if it still does that ON TOP of functioning as a handheld. Still, nice to have more than bitterness for a movie line. I question why I care, but I do.
Never a fan of fully translucent 'white' windows, as it fails to hide all the robot junk inside. Either way, that Bumblebee looks killer! For Crosshairs I'll be waiting for a possible premium version like they had last movie. Oh, and I wish they'd stop painting the sides of his head silver as it makes his face look bloated
Thanks. Would have to see a back view (well not 'have' since I'm already sold but anyway) but that looks cleaner than any movie Bee mold I have. Between your MPM comparison and the cleaner, more interesting leg kibble that is probably the case. I was already interested in this Bee, but wow this is a good figure.
I wonder how much of a profit Hasbro made by releasing a Depaint version of AOE Bumblebee in TLK wave 1, I\'m sure many people bought him especially completists and now they will buy wave 3 Bee also
Great looking Bee! I'll be waiting to see if Takara does a better paint job. Hopefully we will see pictures of that before the Hasbro version hits stores.
Ok new Bee is a get. New Crosshairs not much of a major change from his AOE mould to warrant a purchase.
