For the purposes of anyone trying to look up these figures, I'll point out that their 'proper' name is Titan Changers.

I picked it up on the way to work so I won't get it open until tonight. First glance I think it looks better than the Optimus and Bumblebee. I keep both of those in alt mode, I might keep this in robot form.

I couldn't remember if these were the Titan Changers. I was hoping the receipt would tip me off, which it didn't.

your SO very wrong. all these different titans are GREAT sellers. i used to work at TRU and I was AMAZED at how many of these we moved..especially the star wars..and superhero ones. just because YOU dont like them, dont think they arent a decent product for kids.

the titan CHNAGERS are actually inciting. ill buy the megatron one, but I have to admit..Bee is very tempting when I see it at the store. I think im going to get one to check out the quality, and ill let my son paint it up as his 1st custom.

Who would buy these capitalistic abominations(except for kids)?
    ______
Nowadays people are so obsessed with making the transformations simpler. Back in my days we couldn't transform one friggin rotf voyager properly for two months, then when we finally figured out what the instruction was trying to say, we couldn't transform it again because it just won't do this, and after six years of sufferings, anxiety, self-destruction and not-suring about ourselves because of being not able to make the dumb car transform into the dumb robot it turned out that the damn toy was actually defective and its parts needed to be filed. Needed. To be. Filed.
So it took seven years to finally play with it.
    Seven years.

Yeah so, if we could get the Voyager Megatron in the U.S now, that'd be great.

Guess we will have to suffice on this Megatron until we get the leader and Voyager ones which will be like next year at this rate. Oh and AOEGalvatronRox love your avatar lol.

Really? Hey, I don't mind being wrong. It just seems from my observations that these things don't move. I'll take your word for it though.

Yeah, saw them yesterday as well. The Megatron looked OK, jet mode actually looks great.

Optimus and Bumblebee are terrible. You might be able to mod the arms so they have elbows, but Optimus's entire truck side becomes one floppy arm. The shoulder pins look especially fragile in these things.

They are also $15 now instead of $12. More Hasbro price jumps for nothing. The price increase will hit these hard. The original non Transforming Titans were $10, transforming ones were $12. Now these are $15.

Titans sold because they were grandma specials. For $10 she could get a kid a giant figure he can trash. $15 for a barely better than dollar store toy is a hard sell.

The more this garbage sells, the more Hasbro will believe they can screw people over with subpar crap at high prices. I blame parents for buying squinkies and shopkins. When you sell a 5 cent piece of rubber for $2 each, convincing a beancounter and executive that kind of profit in unreasonable for a complex toy is a hard sell. I'm sure someone upstairs at Hasbro thinks a deluxe transformer should be $50. The way things are going, that's what they'll be in five years.

Non-transforming Titans don't sell. The transforming ones do.
