The fact that Seaspray\'s feet aren\'t hollow makes this a must-buy for me!

Seriously, I was just saying a while back in the Titans Return thread how good Beachcomber would work with the Titan Master gimmick.

 

Seaspray is looking damn fine! Hoping he shows up in my neck of the woods! Like others have stated: Hasbro, let's finish the rest of the minibots (and throttlebots too).

 

Just had a balance request for him and Cosmos from ID Toys. Can't wait for em  

Now where's Hubcap and a Cliffjumper who isn't a red Bumblebee?

 

I like the fact that they even replicated the little round knees.

 

Consider it added to my to-do list sir! I love Shortround so a couple of shots of Seaspray facing off against him are certainly something I'll add to this shoot.

Got another couple to finish first, though. One of them is also a boat some of the time...

 

Seaspray's been sitting on my desk all week, and I get happy whenever I look at him. He's not perfect by any means (and mine doesn't peg together so well in boat mode, sadly) but overall I think they did a great job updating him. He has so much of the same feel and charm as the G1 toy, and his colors are just bright and happy (though I do wish his propellers were black or grey instead of blue... them being the same blue as the other parts of the body has a weird cheapening effect on his look, I think). He has a great chunky minibot presence to him, just like Brawn.

I opt to leave the weapon attached to his body, of course. He's much more appealing with his potbelly.

So I wonder what his repaint(s) will be? G2 doesn't seem likely, not quite different enough (and they don't really seem to do that many G2 repaints, when it comes right down to it). Maybe a Deep Dive/G.I. Joe Whale version in olive green and black? Maybe a Cybertron Shortround or G1 Waver homage? I'm curious to see how this mold gets reused.

 

I love Seaspray, it's so quirky and derpy and fun. Awesome update.

As well as Cliffjumper, Hubcap, Bumper, Huffer, Pipes and Outback. And I'd never say no to repaints/ remolds for Bad Boy, Pathfinder, Road Ranger, Bug Bite, Smallfoot, Glyph, Tapout, and Rook. I was never a big fan of the Legends Class but the newer ones have really gotten my attention.

 

I've got Storm Surge, his repaint. Pretty much the same size. Pictures are not as good as @Sol Fury.

 

I just picked him up, amazing how close to perfection this is, I can\'t believe what they did with the head.
