Your discussion about Hascon was a nice calm psa in a sea of mild rage. I think you're right, this is definitely not a Bottom replacement, hopefully we do get one eventually. I would love to be able to go to a convention with a box set as good as the animated stunticon set was and pick it up live with fans buzzing around. I am a transformers fan though, not a Hasbro brand fan so this isn't for me.

Expert DM for the DnD players package? If it's a one off game by Chris Perkins I might be a little tempted.

Vangelus, what type of hat was it? Beret? Ball cap? Visor?

So, I have a fan theory about double brawn. What if in g1 brawn was just a headmaster who was tired of being pushed around for being tiny so he made a super strong mech suit of himself? It makes sense based on how he died in the movie (i.e. Getting shot in the SHOULDER), as the place he got shot would have blown out his control panel AND the hinge that allows his cockpit to open. My theory is that brawn never died, but was left trapped inside his avatar/mech suit because none of the other autobots knew his secret.

You say it's a good idea to write Hasbro about the autograph policy affecting one's decision about going to the show, which is a good idea.

But what about writing to inform them that the presence of chewbacca mom affects my desire to go to their show?

When Vangelus mentioned it, I had to look up "Chewbacca Mom", so that's now in my computer now, so thanks, Vangelus. This is the only thing I could find about her doing anything else, which, granted, is still f*cking awful.

    So, maybe she'll sing.

Hey guys, thanks for another fun Podcast. :)

I gotta say though, while handled nicely, nearly 50 minutes of talk about Hascon felt like a bit much (kinda like the ticket prices!). You should have had Chewbacca Mom on as a guest to bring something special to the topic. :D

Regarding MP Sunstreaker's hands - Vangelus, are you still displeased despite the added articulation they have compared to previous carbots?

Okay everyone, I'm buying a table at Hascon as a vendor and will be printing Hascon receipts for anything you want to bring from home and get signed. Each receipt will cost $5 to cover the rediculous cost of the table!

I just saw four Shufflers today while I was working. I could pick one up for you if they are still there tomorrow and ship it to you, Vangelus. Let me know and I'll check for them.

Magic the Gathering. My brother used to play this, I dabbled but just preferred collecting, and this was before I really got into toys. Built up a couple decks guided by my brother and his mates during the summer holidays.

They played highlander style and developed insane multi-colour decks. Highlander because they just preferred using as many different cards as possible and multi-coloured because they just gravitated to their best or favourite cards of whatever colour.

My deck evolved from their play style:

    And my highlander Wurm deck:

Coz I like wurms. I think it's awesome but I haven't really played with it all (if some one could tell me what they think... ).

This was so long ago. I found them hidden away with my old PC games...

I don't think Hascon on will do well as a convention. Conventions are for fans; a celebration of a topic they all like. "Being from the same company" isn't enough of a connective tissue. People don't care that much about the company itself- you know they don't because they had to force third party sales out of Botcon.

The only people who care that much about Hasbro across the board works for Hasbro. Just say it: "a Hasbro run celebration of all things Hasbro," doesn't that just sounds conceited?

I can see this as a trade show, but not a convention. Certainly not one that doesn't devote serious time to each franchise.

The doors on Lamborghinis are called scissor doors, because the action of the door moves like the single plane cutting action of scissors.

Oddly enough "Lambo doors" tend to be the label given to the aftermarket kits to make regular cars doors open in a similar way, although they have to move in two planes to open unlike a scissor door would.

I was internally screaming through half this episode. Just FYI. It's up to you all to determine where it was worst.

Ship it to me and I'll film another "delivery to cranium" shot.

That could be legal if you just buy their item, and sell it back for $5 more.
