The black paint marker works...

 

I've been away from things for a while...but did the retail prices for figures go way up?

At target for tlk I saw deluxe for $19.99 and voyager at $29.99. I remember $11.99 and about $22.99 sometimes $19.99 respectively

 

Deluxes have been 15 for at least 2 years now, with Walmart occasionally dropping their price to 10. 25 for Voyagers too. (I've only returned to TF recently myself, so I can't tell you when then hit those prices.) Actually, I just had a friend tell me that combiner wars deluxes were 20? I wasn't there, dunno.

The new TLK toys that just started coming out ate the first ones with the newest high prices. The Generations stuff is still 15/25 at the moment, but at the same time TLK is going up in price, Generations is cutting more paint apps and going to incredibly low quality stickers.

 

No, I meant the newer one from the supposed Wave 3. Looks incredible from the CAD images, but man that face is gross. That's why the battle mask does wonders for me.

Sorry if that wasn't clear. ^^;

 

They definitely become overpriced in a few areas. I also like to have Berserker or Barricade, but the price tag can a a little bit lower.

 

I absolutely adore the head-sculpt on this guy

The sculpted detail is really good but I'm having a hard time not seeing a soul eating monster.

 

Two words. Silver paint.

Paint TLK Voyager Prime's face with silver paint. The details are amazing if done right.

Prime would have looked miles better at retail had he not had such copious amounts of blobby sky blue paint applied to his eyes

 

I don't have the time skill or patience for that, but it does look better with the extra silver.

 

Just his face will do. Nothing major. The unpainted details in all blue really is bad and unsightly...

 

This words can describe the movie bots no matter how much paint they have.

 

Starting to appreciate the AOE Concept Bee mold a lot more than previous versions. I may even get the wave one premier edition version. I really like the yellow and I could probably add some black in myself.

On a side note I really hope Voyager Hound and Megatron come out soon.

 

Well the wave 2 deluxe are out, so it would make sense for the voyager to come out soon.

 

I'm just looking at AOE Vehicon and Junkheap and thinking, "They just have to complete the Last Knight character list, they have to!"

 

If TLK voyager bumblebee comes out, will they also make TLK voyager barricade cause that would be awesome.

 

The current theory is that voyager Bumblebee will have a new alt mode, something military as seen in the Transformers in history pictures, and that is why he's a voyager.
