I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get scammed by xieya668.  

Bought a bot about 10 days ago. It was mark as "shipped" immediately. After re-reviewing recent feedback -- all for stupid beads -- I asked for a tracking number. He/she never added one. I was told to "not worry" in a message. Yeah, not happening. I told him that's what scammers say, and I'm not a moron. I need a number now. The next day, I get notification from eBay that it was shipped (again?) with tracking. But a day later, the number is still invalid. When asked, I was told to wait a day for tracking to hit the system. And guess what, still nothing.

This wasn't a crazy deal either. Nothing out of the ordinary at the time.  

 

so this morning, hongbo had 2 Sunsurges remaining - right now he has "more than 10 available"

thats not a good sign lol. he's cashing in quicker than he thought so he's adding more stock.

mind you, these are all assumptions... but i doubt he's restocking to liquidate.

hopefully our purchases from him are from before he went rogue (once again, all assumptions.)

but if i DO get taken for, I'm okay with it - Toro seems like the premium version of Cliffjumper, but the price of Tumbler was too good that it was worth the risk @ $45. Will just have to wait until July for a refund. it was a late night, long weekend purchase.... lol.

 

@ChromeMagnus - can you change this seller from Legit to "Under Watch - Prices Lower than normal". You can keep him in the positive still, just something for fans to watch, as it does seem a bit on the low side.

 

Damnit seeing all this stuff about Hongbo makes me wish that Lynx Master wasn't sitting there 30% off.

Guys can I ask someone here with more experience than me in this: I was talking with a Chinese seller today and upon a question if the product was a KO he answered me: "Factory stock not KO". He is a very reputable seller, the question is what did he mean? Do they find them directly from the factory or rejects?


I didnt press the issue for obvious reasons (discretion).

 

Interesting that you guys are on the subject of hongbo. You guys never fail me. I'm looking at the PC-08W Perfect Effect kit and noticed theirs at 35 vs 50. I'll have to pass.

also need to watch out for fake tracking numbers. If they never pick up it is probably fake and you should put in a claim.

Using my nectar points and a decent exchange rate I've nabbed a YM Dirge from Baba for about £50. Great price and a reliable seller, now to hope he doesn't have a ropey shoulder.

 

Sunsurge for $51 from Hongbo is killing me. Any news from those who have purchased from him recently?

 

I would wait for mp-39s real price to come out. I got one from a us seller for $65. As much as inwanted to do the one from hongbo something seems fishy
