Thank you. This is what I wanted to know. You sir are well versed in TF history and lore. And you have a pleasant demeanor. Consider yourself followed. (On here.... not in real life.)
I'm expecting a shipping notice any hour. I'm fully confident that my Artfire is already in the mail. Heading right for my doorstep!!!
Not only was Flip Sides a spy, but a sleeper agent! That's pretty cool stuff. They made a pink Eject seem like a really cool character. I love that. I knew about Exhaust, but the Loud Pedal stuff must have slipped by me. Didn't know any of that. I also really enjoyed Blue Bluestreak's bio a lot. I think if Twincast is ever released there will be a lot of cool new lore to read.
Nope, otherwise he would've had a purple autobot logo on him. Same colouration though, so if people wanted to pair him with SG MP-10 would make perfect sense Yeah I really do love the little stories they've made for these characters, it fleshes out the fiction nicely. For Twincast's release they might provide a fuller bio, but since he's already a developed character in TF fiction they might not need to (for example I doubt Soundblaster's bio mentions Artfire). They seem to invent more usually for characters who we don't know much about, or who have just been created. Soundwave's Oblivion is a great resource, and the owner is a really nice guy. Oh yeah, one of the cute things about Delta Magnus's bio is that I think he's actually Powered Buggy!
At some point I'll pick up a junker or KO version of this just so I can have the silver faces and chrome stabilisers for my existing Inferno/Grapple. I like me some silver and chrome.
You are correct about this site. It's a trove. I read all of Delta's translations. I have to admit the site is a little difficult to navigate, but perhaps I'm just not familiar with it. Anyways, thanks. I will enjoy perusing through a lot of these translations. I love the manuals and bios that come with MP figures, but obviously they're all Japanese. I am honestly surprised that English isn't included in retail boxes. English buyers have GOT to make up half? of sales? Is that insanely presumptuous of me?
Based on the in-hand photos we've seen his ladder isn't painted silver, just moulded in grey. We had the same issue with the silver on MP-18's hands, and MP-18B's chest. If it's on a moving part they won't paint it at all, most noticeable on silver parts which become grey. EDIT: nevermind, read your post wrong! It is a little tricky to navigate at times but still full of great info! I'm not sure, 50% of sales seems high. Some releases catered to the Chinese market (MP-11SW first run), so they are potentially a bigger market than English speakers? Hard to know without access to sales figures
Ack. Beautiful specimen there..but suddenly the horror and likelyhood of white plastic turning to a disgusting shade of yellow over time scares me to no end... shudder.
Happened to me with Classics Ramjet. I recently gave him a week-long bath in a solution of hydrogen peroxide. It did wonders in bringing the white back on him.
Just noticed these pics are taken inside a car. How meta! Corinthian leather!! Yellow plastic is often a product of added bromine that is used as a fire ******ant. It can react to UV light or even under-ventilated conditions. Paint can yellow, not as badly.
