Agreed and pardon sounding repetitive, Jackal would work very well for a Goblin substitute.

Spider-Man: Homecoming composer debuts orchestral version of '60s theme

I appreciate it when a composer does an orchestral version of a classic theme, and Michael Giacchino is one of the best at those (Star Trek, Speed Racer). But this is too slow and not jazzy enough IMO.

 

I am not going to lie: i saw this last night and cried. ^^' Seriously, I cant believe everthing that is going on in the MCU and hearing this was just...too much. ^^'

 

With this many Spidey reboots, I think the world is ready for a Clone Saga movie...

 

That orchestral Spidey theme needs to be in Homecoming... even if just over the credits. That is awesome.

 

Wow, that was amazing! Can't wait to hear it in the film! Also, I didn't know Giacchino was doing this! I've been really loving his work lately. He feels like he could become the next John Williams.

 

The 60s theme coudl easily be used for the marvel studios intro, as someone made a fan-edit of the intro with the 60s spidey score and it matches.

 

You wanna make me cry from the beginning of the movie, right? xD If that will be the case then I will f---ing clap at the screen. xD

I don't care how they use it, as long as it's on the soundtrack.

I do love that theme, but would also love if someone also did something with the Spider-Man Animated theme that Joe Perry performed.

 

That's the 94 cartoon theme. I'd like to hear a version of that in a Spider-Man film someday.
