Head on over to a local casino. Drop $100 into a slot machine. Play until you win $469.99. Transfer funds to your Paypal. There ya go, you just got him for $100.

If you happen to win $1000, feel free to transfer $369.99 to me so I too can enjoy the fortune of the knowledge I bestowed upon you. You'll still be on the up. Its a win/win.

    Good luck. Thanks in advance!

The v1 set was nowhere near as stiff on the individual bot joints. v2 it's like they over-tightened everything. =\
the combined joints are ratcheted so the tightness on the individual bots is unrelated for the most part.

Key exception: the knees on Scrapper. Mine don't lock into place. There's a ratchet at the joint but too much play between teeth. It buckles under the weight of combined mode. And if the hip sockets ever loosen up... yikes.

Thanks. This doesn't bode well. I hope some creative type comes up with some fixes soon.

I won't lie. After only having the CW Devastator for so long I forgot how finicky third party takes tend to be. I'm sure he'll grow on me but right now as sweet as the bots look they feel like a box full of work waiting for me.

thankfully i have been lucky my v1 set is pretty good apart from scrapper in leg mode things could be tighter there ie: shovel foot and the loose leg tilt ( scrappers waist ) but it's not so bad I can't pose the beast , however I did think for ages there was something wrong with longhaul as couldn't get the top torso part secured but was me being dumb as I already mentioned in my last post in this thread

Yeah I'm leaving my v1 set in combined mode. I put the v2 set's g1 head on it with @jream's neck upgrade kit, and it has the lat filler kit installed that I got from Toyworld via @Qingtianzhu and to be honest I'm quite happy with it now. The v2 set being ridiculously stiff except apparently the part on Shovel where it needs to be for combined mode to be stable, i figure I'll just keep them in bot modes and not risk breaking anything. I really hope the Zeta Bruticus turns out better on the first try. Constructor looks good and scales wonderfully with MPs but I wouldn't mind a bit more QC polish and attention to detail by the manufacturer.

Trying to visualize that part. Can you take a picture of where the problem is? Both my v1 and v2 do not have this problem.

TFSource received theirs already. That's where I bought mine from. They had it before TCP and others (for a change) so that's why I didn't go with TCP. I think most US retailers already received TW's initial run. The next batch is in July if I recalled correctly that was what QTZ mentioned.

My V2 does the same thing. Posted a pic and a video a while back.

It is in the knee ratchets themselves. Too much play makes Constructor's "ankle" loose forward and back.

Sorry for the crappy pic, I'm at work and it's what I had handy. The indicated section rocks back and forth freely.

    Edit: also what @VenomGTSR said

Yep, that's it. My Scrapper's waist also spins freely. I don't think it detracts from stability, but it's the same general area. (Long Haul also has a freely spinning waist, such that trying to turn the head results in the entire upper body spinning. No effect on combined mode obviously.)

I'm wondering if stuffing something between the legs and panels would help stiffen him up. I just don't want to end up putting too much pressure on the rear flaps and end up bowing them or worse.

Ok, I see what you mean. There's slight play on mine as well. Never noticed it because it never had issues standing. The combination of foot swivel and ankle tilt, along with the sliding hips never made standing an issue on mine.

I had the same thought and concern... was considering making a spacer to slide between the thigh and flap, but then whatever force was making the joint bend would be held in place by the little tab that secures the flap. Not an appealing thought.
