Those weren't jokes and you know it. Calling a person (real or fictional), derogatory names for no reason is just childish and i'm just tired of seeing it.

So insulting someone without explanation is what you call a opinion?

This book is just bad, this story is going nowhere, the last arc, was just not interesting

Why no faceplate? You have a uninteresting story and then the nerve to draw Prime with no faceplate.

I hate to drop the book, I really do, but I have been waiting for barber to take off. When RID first dropped it wasn't interesting, but the thinking was Barber is having to rework the nonsense that came before it. And RID season 2, which I thought was going to be Barbers time to shine, it just left me dissapointed and I know because I can't really bring myself to reread season 2, and with OP off to such a boring start, I see no reason to trust that Barbers writing is going to get better, I just don't see it, including humans is always bad for a transformers story, humans should always be background characters. Humans live to be a 100 at best. We need 18 years to reach adulthood and once a man is 50 he is no longer able to do what he could do in his prime, so we spend what? Age 50-100 in decline. Compared to robots who live millions of years, and not just live for millions of years, but fight intergalactic wars for millions of years, humans in modern form have been around for what? 200k years? But yet writers constantly try to put humans and transformers on some type of equal footing and that never works. A human to a transformer should be a footnote, a after thought. And adding one maybe 2 humans into a group of TF's like verity, ok, the entirety of the human race? Doesn't work.

It\'s hilarious how people are confused that IDW POTUS is finally getting some characterization.  It\'s almost like they\'re trying to draw some sort of parallel between the burdens of leadership or something....

That's not true. Humans should ALWAYS be a part of the story because they always have been. Now I'm saying your logic doesn't make some sense, because it does to an extent. At least about the humans and the age of life expectancy =ing different paths, but this franchise NEEDS human relation to sell the product. It's always been there, & it works. Plus it's easier to relate.

I'm SO glad im.not much of a critic & I can enjoy every Transformer line made so far mainline mainly. But even all the smaller lines and pretty much thats everything so far, And this looks exciting to me!. I've been collecting Transformers Comics since very start of 1985 when issue #1 came to our drug store (in VT we'd always get things later then the rest of the world would, before the late 90s). I still have that issue & somehow it was/is a 1st edition. I collected all Marvel's except 67 ti 81 only have a few, got everything Dreamwave and IDW minus the character 1 offs. I enjoy it all! I accept change very well I wss good with the movies, good with ROTF (Altho I do SEE the plotholes) & I was good with AOE (NOT the toyline as much but that was mainly because of all the bullshit in the way. Generations movie wasn't bad. I liked Besst Wars, B.Machines, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Classics, Alternators, ANIMATED Especially!!! RiD'00 RiD15 TF:p rime & all those toylines I still have.

Ok but I understand that everyone is different and I don't look down on you for it, it just makes me that much more glad I can enjoy these pleasures in life.

I mean, here's the thing about having humans in Transformers....

It's sci-fi. The entire point of sci-fi as a concept is to tell stories about the human condition using technology and futurism as metaphors. This ENTIRE arc has been about authority, power, and the bad things people do for good causes. Those are human stories! Having humans allows us to contrast ourselves against the seemingly alien psyches of the Transformers. They are so different from us, but their troubles are OUR troubles, just writ large.

    That's what sci-fi does, y'all.

This has been Literary Criticism 101, see you on Wednesday!
