Every time I'm ready to leave they drag me back in with a preview more interesting than most of the last arc. Oh well, at least I get some enjoyment out of it, especially this one so far.
Something feels a bit off about Optimus\' face. Sure there\'s room for artistic liberty since the face guard is off, but its not what I would have drawn myself.
Really appreciating the friendlier interactions between Cybertronians and humans. I'm also glad to see Jetfire being expanded on in terms of his character considering how much a background character he's been throughout the comics.
Not a big fan of the art (Either Griffith, Milne, or Zama is good enough for me) but the story appears to be interesting. Also, with the appearance of Nosecone, does this indicate the Technobot's were originally a crime lab team? On a side note, does anyone know why there appear to be little squares in the background of this comic? Edit: New theory: The flashbacks are setting up the formation of Orion Pax's team. As of now, we need Hound, Ironhide, and Silverbolt
Nice to see Bitch president interact with the Autobots for a change instead of tlaking about how horrible they are. I also love the joke that Nosecone is lazy.
I have to admit, i don't like seeing Prime without the faceplate. Even though it has been done numerous times throughout the years, it still doesnt feel like prime to me.
It\'s weird how when we first met President Bitch she was just a generic shallow \"grr curse those Autobots\" authority role villain, and now they\'re trying to make her sympathetic and almost funny. I know it\'s dumb to write people off as purely good or bad, but after years of her shitty attitude her depiction here is a little jarring.
Hmmm! Priscilla seems to have a bit of Andy Wildman in her. It\'s not my ideal, but I like it. Except Prime\'s weirdly round head. Motherfuckin\' Nosecone! Now there\'s a way to get some Technobot action in IDW. Er, because 3/5 of them are dead. Dead dead dead. Meanwhile, on the Lost Light: Who the fuck knows, because issue 50 was fucking a million years ago so no Strafe for you!
Yeah, no kidding :/ It's not like her or the other humans have a legitimate reason for disliking Cybertronians or anything... Oh WAIT!
While I always dislike antagonistic humans, I'm glad that they're filling out their characters and show them actively trying to put differences with the Autobots aside. Better late than never. The President and Optimus are trying to establish a common ground based on their leadership experiences, and they are fully aware of how their ideals are difficult and nigh-impossible in the real world. It's a perspective from Optimus that hasn't really been seen since Optimus is traditionally a heroic warrior: the idea of him trying to actively seek peace as a means of ending the war, rather than beating up bad guys. It will be interesting to see how he goes down this path, and whether he can manage to stay on it.
Can we stop with the virtue signaling nonsense? It's just childish. People have different opinions, why are you jumping to the defense of a fictional woman because someone simply made a joke?
