Swear to Primus, IDW better get Grimlock in this series because the D-bots are gonna need the big G if they're gonna beat the Transformers equivalent of Mecha-Gojira
Not gonna happen despite being well over do. But Grimlock being a mute with the Scavengers team is moreso because there's no real threats so I'd rather. But better to play the mute on hiatus than be the dumb oaf that Thundercracker is playing on Earth. I also don't see how the other Dinobots can take on Trypticon when they barely survived against Devastor on 2 occasion in G1 (before they made Grimlock comic relief). Anyway Trypticon should be a Global threat, one of the few things that would have Metroplex looking over his shoulder. But I'll give this a chance since I did enjoy the first 2 books.
Oh boy, another miniseries ruined by having a d-lister artist take over. Might as well completely ignore it.
The Dinobots are amoung my favorite Transformers characters, but nothing destroys my excitement for a book faster and more thoroughly than seeing Ramondelli's name in the art credits, please IDW let a good artist draw the Dinobots again.
I have no issue with Ramondelli's work, some of the most colourful, inventive and appealing of the IDW run....but whoever did that cover, it's terrible. Took me a full minute to work out what I was actually seeing. Dressing Trypticon up like he's going to a 90's rave lit by ultraviolet lights isn't helping, and what is that white miasma covering the bottom half of the page?? If it's meant to be dust/debris it's a very poor way of realising it.
I have to say I agree. I like Ramondelli's art style, I really do but I don't think it is suited to transformers books. His work on some of the Chaos stuff and the Dead Universe segments of Dark Cybertron tells me that he should really be working on a horror graphic novel. I'll still be getting this. Love me some Dinobot action.
I'd have to agree and disagree at the same time. It appears his art style is more suited for a grittier type of story, such as the Dinobots, who are a team shown to have been compared to the Wreckers. Also, it was good for the introduction of Infinitus, as he was a evil leader who came back from the dead. However, for a more semi-light-hearted story, such as Transformers vol. 2, it was out of place since it was mostly about Earth, and in that issue, not much fighting was conducted (correct me if I'm wrong), so it looked to be out of place
yes, please. put him on another book, far far away from transformers, so i dont have to see it anymore.
Got to agree on the whole moving Ramondelli thing. I say he can do some sweet artwork- DONT SHOOT YET- but his Transformers stuff doesn't show it so well. I had no bloody idea that was Kup in Dark Cybertron but I'd buy some of these as prints if he ever showed up at a convention I was at. Sandtrooper Slaughter Vader on Hoth Mr. Freeze Ahsoka Tano Despite the inclusion of colour, that is his work.
How dare you say that as a professional fembot I am deeply offended she wont even need to shoot once tripticon will be dead the moment he realizes she exists. You underestimate the power of women!
