This made me realize if you have Skyhammer and Primestrong you can recreate Battlepants Prime.

Windbreak?? You would think hasbro would get the rights to the name Breakdown back be for that would put this out.

 

RID is a direct continuation of Prime and Breakdown is dead in Prime

 

"Wildbreak". A combination of G1's "Wildrider" and CW's "Break-Neck". (Who are the same person)

RiD is in the Prime continuity, where Breakdown is already dead.

 

Its Sideswipe   I owned the toy (returned it after I didn't want it lol I'm good at replacing back in packaging brand new)

Yup didn't like Ironhide no head, didn't like Galvatrons grey body once I saw the movie, didnt like Brawns face, & didn't like Powerglides legs (lol). Funny thing I never knew Ratchet was the same toy as a kid.  

They been making GREAT decisions for 2017! Fucking awesome build quality and adding decepticons in the line again was really smart. Paint decos and colors are top notch and fantastic line ups!

Yea it is. If you want accuracy which most ppl live by it now a days

Right. Altho I might pick up the menasor but I have a feeling it will get passed to my niece or buddies kid after a week or so.

 

Well we might get that mini-Superion thingie with the two plane dude and Galvatronus.

 

Hasbro presumably still has the rights to "Breakdown", at least they did two years ago.

 

Whats weird though is that his personality is very similar to G1 Breakdown's, though his paranoia partly comes from a lack of intelligence.
Also, Dragstrip's head is based off of G1 Breakdowns too.

 

I would assume that's because Prime Breakdown wasn't intended to be *that* Breakdown and when they were planning that show they didn't anticipate using the Stunticons in a follow-up series.

 

I wouldn't mind Hasbro making Generations Crash Combiners of G1 characters with the traditional Generations aesthetic. I'd even tolerate the simplistic individual robot modes as long as they had a Generations quality paint job, since I like the Legends/Cyberverse toys and they were simplistic as well.

 

I love Crash Combiners. They are totally G1 gimmick fodder. These will be bought on sight.

 

It's almost certain that he is the Stunticon Breakdown. He's got his color scheme, right down to the red face with yellow eyes. All the other Decepticons on Prime had red eyes.

It's funny watching Wildbreak and Dragstrip together on RID. They're totally inspired by Ralph & Norton from The Honeymooners. Dragstrip even drops a "bang-zoom" and an "away we go", which were both Jackie Gleason catch phrases. They both talk like the Honeymooners characters. It's such an odd, old call back.
