Previously revealed via the RID mobile game, I think this is our first look at the toys themselves. Official stock photo in European packaging.
    From Italian online retailer Gamepeople.it.

Oh right. Despite being redecos of each other in the Team Combiner Menasor set, Dragstrip and Wildbreak are totally different cars here. Huh.

You do have to remember that the Crash Combiners were never really meant to be really hard for the designers. Leaving the limbs as repaints of each other, aside from the main characters of the show, allows the making of each combiner to become more efficient. I wish they had paid attention to the details like the different alt. modes for each character, but I knew that was never going to happen.

So I have to echo what @Nevermore said about them being different vehicles.
In they show they both share a design, and their figures in the Menasor set reflect this. Here only Dragstrip is show accurate. And ironically, Wildbreak is the Indy car. I think however I can partially excuse this. It would seem these two being Crash Combiners is relevent considering they have displayed the ability in the show. The fact they turn into two different vehicles is most likely so kids don't get bummed out that they got 2 of the same thing so directly.

Seeing as how Wildbreak takes G1 Breakdown's personality to heart and Dragstrip acts like some of Jackie Gleasons roles, I'll have to pick any version of them up.

Seriously though. "One of these days Wildbreak, One of these days!" :lol  The Stunticons are the best thing thats ever happened to this show and they'll most likely die off mid season.

And they switch vehicles modes with Wildbreak being the dragster and Drag Strip being the lambo.

Gotta start them young and teach kids what disappointment is from an early age yeehaw. Honestly, if I were a smol child, I'd be more disappointed that the figure didn't look anything like the character I was used to seeing in the show

Didn't Hasbro also say Crash Combiners will also somehow work with Team Combiners? Wonder if that means people who are interested enough could take these and add them to Menasor to improve his look.

Makes you wonder how any of us ever got attached to Transformers considering how basic most G1 figures are compared to post BW stuff.

This makes zero sense, given how on the show they turn into the same type of car and only their head molds are different... oh well, not like I was gonna buy these crash combiners anyway. Hope they get proper Warrior sized toys at least, if not then Legions.

From the image, it looks as though Dragstrip may be the same mould as Bumblebee.

Did any of us actually feel disappointment that the likes of Swindle and Galvatron didn't resemble how their toys looked back in the 1980s?

I'm only disappointed here that Dragstrip isn't a yellow F-1 Racer. I know kids won't care but adult fans like us do, or should.

Thats a good thing in my opinion personally. Despite not intending to buy them, I'd be dissatisfied if they were identical vehicles.

Huh. Hasbro's been making some weird-ass decisions of late, and this set is one of em.

So much bitching on this thread :')

2 of the 3 Crash Combiners are less than stellar, yes, and they all have limited articulation. But Skyhammer is pretty damn fun and looks good (Less can be said for Beeside and Primestrong)

We literally just had Combiner Wars, and people are moaning that Dragstrip here isn't an F1 racer? I'd be pissed if this was a G1 line but it isn't! We know the majority of the RID line is for kids so why are people shocked?

Dragstrip should be on top of Wildbreak like in the show (or can they switch places?) but the toy has the blue F1 Racer on top.

Except Dragstrip forms the legs. So it's more likely a version of Sideswipe while Wildbreak shares elements of Bee/Prime (mostly the flip down combiner chest plate)

So the guy who forms the top gets his part of the name first, right? When they combine in the show, it'd be DragBreak, and here... WildStrip?

I don't wanna know which deviantART OC shares that name.

But one that should not have happened in the first place.
