Just saw this post. Dude, there's more point in another MP Ironhide than ... I dunno, a case full of pointy things. Which would be A CASE IN POINT ahaha.

Ok anyway, seriously, TT's attempt is piss-poor IMO. There are so many things wrong with it that I don't know where to begin. Even the aftermarket mod kits barely save the toy. Actually scratch that. They don't. They just make it a little less crappy-looking.

You know there's room for another go when an avowed Ironhide-hater like me won't even buy a KO of the official version, and is using TFC's Ironhide as a stand-in (the Voodoo version has these horrible Speedo briefs that I can't unsee).

I'm willing to let anybody else attempt to wow me with another MP Ironhide. Not that I care for the pretentious old fart much, but TT's is reaaally not cutting it.

No interest in the Ironhide, but I like what they show for Runamuck and Runabout... The thing is, I would like them with the bigger behind-the-head canopies, and that was the easiest part to design. They actually apparently made it more difficult for themselves by shrinking or moving the back of the car elsewhere!

Firebird the trans am is the smokie and the bandit car both are made by Pontiac not an expert on cars so could be wrong

 

Is iGear doing another G1 Ironhide mold the first time a 3rd Party company has made two completely different figures (i.e. the second figure is not like a revision of the first) of the same version of the same character?

 

The Smokey and the Bandit car and KITT are both Firebird Trans Ams, just different years ('77 for Smokey, '81 for KITT). The Trans Am models were the upgraded model over the regular Firebird, think a Challenger vs a Challenger R/T.

IGear did the Raptor Voyager Seekers and MP.

IGear had plans for a Bumblebee named Stinger and once released Bee 01.

I'm not sure precisely what you're asking, but, yes, with a minimal amount of re-tooling, they could make a nice Downshift out of this design.
It's iGear, though (supposedly): In the past, they weren't keen on getting exact alt-modes right, so I'm not sure that -even if they thought of it-- they would bother to re-shell the figure into a Toyota Celica XX/Supra.
