I never really liked the movie designs as MY transformers, many have worked in their own right. What I did always love was the footage of them actively transforming.
If I wanted an SDCC Trypticon, I would want one in prototype colors like they showed before the official reveal. Also trust me, the quindet is going to be the only comic-accurate part of Snyder-Aquaman's character. Orange mail, blonde hair, color saturation? You're out of luck, but at least the trident is right. Except in silver not gold. I'm not bitter.
Yeah I haven't picked up any SDCC Titan figures yet. I wish they were able to go broader in their color palettes. Metro Titan, G2 Devastator, and Brave Maximus would have all been more appealing to me. I hope I'm not projecting on other collectors but I also feel like that would encourage more people to double dip as well. Trypticon could be done as a Gigastorm or Zone Trypticon with painted armor? But I am expecting small changes and send chrome.
