Er, not really a fan of the proportions here to be honest, particularly the chest.

Aaaaand, I still think is too big. Rodimus being as tall as Springer just seems wrong.

Actually, I think it's just Seraph. With arm blades?

 

The artist working on our latest comics has a very stylized art style, you can see his first efforts in the boreas comic. Likes to mess with proportions and details and whatnot.

So yeah that's calidus but because of the artists style he looks much bulkier, this isn't reflective of anything at all toy wise, just how he does his artwork. The other guy is indeed his interpretation of seraph.

I think they are trying to encourage people to buy Seraphicus Priminion since it was somewhat disappointing.

 

Even a bit taller by the looks of it. I can understand the Hasbro scale being off but Spartan is super shrimpy compared to the company he's keeping in that group shot.

Man, that reminds me of how much I wanted Warden and Springer...

 

Agreed I feel like he should've been a large Deluxe small Voyager about the size of FP Defender.

Just curious, any info on this guy making the reviewer circuit first, or is it just straight to retail?

 

Peaugh or Paik tend to get our review copies so either of them will probably have one around a week before the main shipments get sent out.

I automatically get copies of things I work on so I have a Calidus coming to me as well but psx shipments can be crazy slow (least for me) at times so my video probably won't be up till later in the month if he takes his time lol.

He's still in assembly, get the impression he might not be out till after Cal but boss says this month for him. Not sure why he's been so especially slow.

 

I'm more anxious for Turben than I am for Calidus. Thanks for the production update Lazy. I've had Kultur and Dicamus sitting in my POL for months just waiting for Turben to drop.

I think I might actually cancel my Calidus preorder. I'm just not feeling him. Colors look good, thanks again Lazy. But the height, chest proportions, etc. just don't do it for me. Perhaps a review or two, and some great fan photos will change my mind. But for now I'll channel that money into their Whirl or Megatron.

 

So TFSource will have him in August. Got it.
