Heh got it pretty much spot on which is amazing from just pre-release photos!! A few minor differences in the hip panels, abs and feet but you couldn't have figured those out with the info available so they were educated guesses.

Well spotted, I was looking for that to compare MP-36's transformation to, but totally forgot, it's incredible how it's pretty much spot on!

Yes! This! The other two I guess didn't get this. I mean, maybe your saying it is better then how I was describing! Ugh.. Haha! Either way, yes it sucks and if I can't get help then I guess I'm screwed, I know I was being a little forceful but as you said, I almost had to be, but I just didn't realize I was causing damage at the other end. That WAS my bad..

Guess time will tell. Maybe they'll work with me. If not I'll smash from the other side and try to do a repair. HE STILL FUNCTIONS!!!

My apologies, I did not intend to come off as rude like that. I just wanted to point out (sarcastically, I'll admit) that some of us had to pay much more than 200$.

I think it was. But that's my personal feeling based on the fact this as this was the last MP on my want list that I will buy for a while, and that he also happens to be AMAZING. But at that price you can be sure he will remain in robot mode forever.

No, Montreal. Where did you get yours? Was that $290 CAD? I got mine from TFSource, which was $284.49 USD shipped, which converts to $388.49 CAD.

Has anyone found a proper faction symbol that completely conceals the shyte toon symbol on MP-36? Any chance someone is working on a replacement chest plate we could clip on?

It's a safe bet that reprolabels will release an alternate faction symbol for it eventually

I had the same problem. 23:44 at the video... The hinge is already moving freely.... Nothing to do with your issue. I couldn't for the life of me get the barrel to extend like in step 3 of the instructions.... I just skipped it... Then at the end when you're almost in gun mode... At the point near 23:44 I was able to extend it with a lot of force.... Felt like I would break it. Fortunately I have two... One for each mode... So I was willing to live with breaking the barrel if it came to that since one was staying in gun mode and I could use crazy glue. So damn impossible..... Good luck man.

Thanks for noticing. I'm embarrassed I didn't get the abs right though^^
I had assumed the legs were connected a little tighter and that the outer panel was rigid, so everything moved around that. Without a physical model it was not possible to determine where parts would be blocked, so some of the steps don't take that into acount.

I remember someone on facebook actually accusing me that the video was providing 3rd parties with detailed instructions on how to make a KO :rolleyes2

Apollyon's back is so much cleaner. But MP-36 has cleaner legs. It's very close, but I think I'd rather have Apollyon. Thanks for the comparison!

Whoa... did this guy actually figure out how to not get scuffs on the barrel? How has no one known about this?

Because almost no one on here speaks Japanese... This video should be posted on the main page!

Jesus Christ there are people here following tutorial's and ruining their figures by sanding them down. If this is true the guy in the video is a genius. It's probably in the Japanese instructions and was easily missed.

Glad I didn't sand anything down and I'm glad I've only attached the barrel extension once very carefully, so mine is still unscuffed. I'll definitely give this a try once I get back home from work!

I've always noticed the different positions from the get go, and mine in the correct orientation (the tell is the two sliding rails for the face gun mode are facing downwards) still scuffed the barrel. So I don't think it's that. The instructions clearly show this at the very end of the transformation where you slide the silencer on with highlighted bits. Even if you don't read Japanese it's very easy to understand in the instructions.

Although the silcener in the video does look to slide on so much more easily than many people's, it may be just he got lucky with his.

Erm, afraid not. That joint rotates 90 degrees, not 45 (and he's turning it 90 degrees in his video). If it's in anything other than the correct position (or 60 degrees around because it engages in the 60-degree rotational symmetry rifling pattern) then it wont go on at all.

So most people are doing it right - it comes right out of the box so if you haven't messed around making the other stuff out of those parts it'll still be right. Also covered in the instructions in a diagram. For his to go on so easy in the correct position he's either god damn lucky or has sanded it.

So it's cool he's showing everyone the correct way, but this aint gonna magically fix scuffing problems unfortunately - cos you're already doing it right or it wont go on at all. That said, I've done no sanding or anything to mine and have no scuffs after 15+ on and offs simply by being careful and guiding it on/off straight.

probably you forgot the fabulous trigger ass, as the way uglier face sculpt, stumpy legs and birthing hips.
    Apollyon?
No thanks, mp 36 every day long, scuffs and all
