"Might want to turn down your audio reception Dev, it's only get louder as we get closer." states TFan as she begins the circular walk up.

Dev turns them down, then Chip's.

"So Navi, got any ideas what traps will be in here?"

 

"You sure? I mean, I still could."

 

"Hmm..." Navi floats in circles trying to jog his memory circuits. "I think there are lasers and... something big..."

 

"50 bucks says you can't" Dev whispers to Necro out of earshot from Tfan.

"This isn't gonna be another giant hammer, is it?"

 

"I don't think so.. but the thing moved?" Navi hmms. "I dunno! Let's just go see!" With that Navi flie sahead of them... and nearly gets shot by a laser suddenly spurting out of the crevice in the wall.

"Secondary defenses activated" states the machine.

 

"There's a trap! Still, 1 laser isn't that bad?"

 

"Alright, parkour time, let's go, let's go!"

Necro proceeds to parkour his way up the clock tower, dodging lasers all the while.

 

"Third defenses activated" Suddenly metal sheets would begin to shoot across from one side of the tower to the other blocking the way upward.

 

Necro, transforming to jet mode, rammed his way through the metal blockades.

 

Dev run after Necro, keeping Chip out of harms way.

"Well there goes 50 bucks."

 

"How Megs got rid of Timelapse and returned to Shinkion"
To the tune of this

To the Planet of Shinkion came a stranger one grim day...
Hardly spoke to any Shinkis, didn't have too much to say
No one dared to ask his business, no one dared to make a slip
for the cat that walked among them had a shitpost on his hip.

It was early in the mornin' when he rode into the town
Ridin' his vespa from the south side, slowly lookin' all around
"He's a cat-thing back from the void" came a whisper from each lip
"and he's here to weave some chaos with that shitpost on his hip"


In the town lived in a imposter by the name of Timelapse Dread
Many Maochaos tried to take him and that many Meows were dead
He was boring, wasn't interesting, was an overwhelming snore,
Megs would kindly rid the planet of this total eyesore

Now the Cat-thing started talkin', made it plain to folks around
Was the Vespa-king of Maochaos, (You heard it right, that total clown)
He was back to claim that title, from that guy called Timelapse Dread,
and before the day was over, he was sure to make him dead.

Wasn't long before that shitpost was relayed to Timelapse Dread
But ol' Timelapse didn't worry, Cats who tried before were dead
Twenty Maochaos tried to kill him, twenty Meows had made a slip
Twenty one would be the Cat-thing with the shitpost on his hip

Now the morning passed so quickly and it was time for them to meet
It was twenty past eleven when they rode into the street
Shinkis were watchin' from the shadows, everybody held their breath
For they knew the stupid Cat-thing was about to meet his death

There was twenty posts between them, When they stopped to make their play
And the swiftness of the cat-thing is still talked about today
Ol' Timelapse hadn't blinked, no, he couldn't make a post
For Megs had typed a shitpost that had rendered Timelapse toast.

It was over in a moment and the crowd all gathered round
There before them lay the body of Timelapse on the ground
He might've been my self-insert if I hadn't gotten bored
but Megs was here to stay today to sew some more discord

 

Dev stopped for a minute and listened at a wall.

"Oh boy a parody. Lets get this done quickly so whoever that is doesn't sing another one."

Backlash watched on in pride. This was a true artist. But what was he going to do about Wheeljack? And where does he keep all those grenades?! Perhaps he should ask for help from this . . . @megatronski

 

Stone was there to witness the whole thing. He had only one thing to say...

"Cool!"

 

Backlash elbows Stone, to get his attention. "I know, right?" He says. "How does he do it?"

 

"I dunno, never met the guy. Seems... vaguely familiar, though..." Stone noted.

 

"Yeah..." Backlash starts to have a flashback, but shrugs it away. "Eh. We all get that feeling. It usually means we've been hanging around Artork, too long." He says. Backlash walks over to the wall, turns around, and leans on it. "By the way, do you happen to know where Wheeljack is? I'm gonna' go avenge my pal, Makeshift."

 

"Never heard of a guy named Wheeljack. or Artork, for that matter."
