The same source also has a pic of the Trypticon prototype/mock up using TR Fort Max parts (first seen in a Figure King magazine interview with Hasui) and another prototype.

I can think they did that prototype using parts of a existing Titan Class to test the weight he can have, no?.

Trypticon is going to be Glorious. After the obligatory Omega Supreme Titan class figure is anyone else hoping we get a new Titan Class Unicron mold that actually looks good in planet mode? I know Unicron is never going to scale well as a toy but shouldn't he at least be the biggest transformer?

The art's ok, but I wished it was "zoomed out" a bit more to give it a more grandiose look.

Also, the pose and the box dimensions make it look like a chubby baby wreaking havoc.

I cannot believe we're getting TWO Titans in one line. That's unheard of. I love it.

And then we would need a Titan Class Primus to scale with him in planet and bot mode.

Actually metroplex and Devastator came out in CW. While devy is a combiner i believe hasbro considered him Titan Class as a set.

However on your general enthusiasm i wholeheartedly agree!

Pretty sure it's Marcelo Matere. He's been doing a lot (I think all) of the box art for Combiners Wars and Titans Return

Interesting. These newest images show Trypticon with a few minor tweaks not seen in earlier versions. Most noticeable is the use of a deeper orange transparent plastic and gold foil "stickers " for his eyes. The gold foil was only seen in the Takara version up until now but it seems the Hasbro version has it too. Since these are the latest images, I'll assume this is the closest to the final version so far. I love it!!!

Titan Class Metroplex was a Generations toy, which was before CW.

I'll take a stab at this. These are my personal observations of the differences. Please chime in if I missed a few.

The clear green plastic is a brighter shade in the TT and darker on the Hasbro . The inside of the mouth is painted purple in the TT. Possible silver painted missiles in the mouth on TT and grey in the Hasbro one. As my post earlier, it appears that now Hasbro also has the gold foil eyes like the TT, so no difference there. The shade of grey is also the same on both to my eyes. The shade of purple on FullTilt is not different enough to notice but I'm sure it'll be noticeable with a future side by side in hand comparison.
