Neither was I really. This is what happens when everything looks cool and the addiction has fully taken hold. I have no interest in Beast Wars yet I now own Perfect Effect Beast Gorira (Optimal Optimus). A 4.5 changer OP. It is amazing.

That unpainted window frame isn't doing the alt mode any favorable service  

 

Based on the Pic below I believe there are two heads. One for normal use and one that uses the Brainmaster gimmick. It looks like the back of the Brainmaster is the faceplate (similar to the back of Headmaster heads), though I didn't track down a pic of that.

It is painted, they painted it black.

 

That's a really odd choice as both Laster and the Countach are supposed to have their A-pillars matching the roof.

It's odd how they're painting it. They've even given it Sideswipe's/Walter Wolf's black fender flares and chin spoiler, which were unique to that car AFAIK.

It's like they're trying really hard to make this "yellow Sideswipe", and not the character it's supposed to be.

Thinking the same thing. There is no way an in scale buggy can fill out that entire upper half without the difference in scale being more in line with their Predaking center lion bot, which was considerably larger than the limbs. I'm hoping not, but who knows.
