    I used transwarp technology to go back in time and shoot every other MP in the face.

    MP-01-and-only Dinobot has now been on general release for years.

    Actually, the color they send is random -- so you might get the one pictured, or you might get that sweet, sweet green one.

    3rd parties don't have the guts to take on something this complex! They'll let Takara do the hard part first & then mimic their engineering!

    Indeed! Like the upcoming triple-changers from KFC (with wonky beast modes), and Fanstoys' blocky attempt at Springer, or perhaps MMC's/Maketoys' etc. all-but-forgotten attempts at Inferno and Grapple (bless those that keep trying to say that they surpass, let alone measure up to the officials).

    I'm no stranger to 3P items - once upon a time I would even have considered myself a defender of them, but something changed and I will never be able to shake that feeling of 'placeholder/imitation' when I look at them.

    Drawing on Goldilocks' experience, there is always something not quite right with those particular bowls of porridge.

    *Edit: To be honest, I am being a bit cheeky here. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that, but so often with 3P I have felt like they fall short on refinement - Badcube are a good example of this, complication for the sake of complication - which somehow became a 'selling point' for their products.

    I always get a sense of experience and professionalism from TT products - most of their transformations have a natural/intuitive flow, and almost everything has a place - of course I've been let down on a few occasions, but generally they just 'feel right' compared to the 3P products I've owned over the years.

    Omega Supreme, Skyfire, AOE Lockdown, Starscream, Jazz, Trailbreaker, Optimal Optimus, Dinobots, Combaticons, Protectobots, etc... All products I would love to spend money on. What's that, like 5 grand Takara won't be getting out of me?

    I'm not on the whole 3rd party or Takara are better show, I'm just saying Takara need to crank these things out faster.

    I'd like for them to get Dinobot out there just so we can see what the next Autobot car will be. I mean, of all the BW MPs, Dinobot would be the most likely for me to actually buy, but we really need to finish the Autobot cars this decade.
