Long story short, I can't get a response from anyone involved. I was discussing with TFM just sending me a new bot that i'd disassemble myself and replace the parts on my 2. They agreed that was the easiest option and POOF! gone... Never to be heard from again. The seller also isn't responding anymore. So that's that.

 

Havnt seen any updated shots of overturn so I'd assume he'll be the last. Powertrain is scheduled end of May according to most etailers.

And Dragstrip with Breakdown, a little longer which I think makes sense for the car type.

He is only the upper arm, the lower arm comes from Motormaster's trailer.

Well I see Revolt as an oversized race car! Because I don't see anything in the cockpit (steering wheel or something similar) to make me think otherwise!  

 

i think revolt is pretty much in scale with Carnage and Disorder but that's my own opinion

 

Well, scale with real-world vehicles is not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. So you can pretend it's in scale when it isn't, but that doesn't change that its car-mode is out of scale when compared to the other three cars. It happens to work better for the combined form but that doesn't change the reality of the car-mode scaling.  

iirc, the G1 Drag Strip was also larger than the scale of the other Stunticon cars. Just like the truck was also wrongly scaled for combined form purposes.

Come on, everyone know that opinions are facts. Have you not gone to University? I am so triggered right now.

 

I like this set because it was suppose to fit with the mp car bots in individual modes. I don't care about combine mode because it's too small anyways for mp. So if they are tweaking individual sizes to make combine mode to work, then that's a huge bummer. With drag strip being bigger to be an arm, is revolt really huge too, shouldn't he be the same size as the first two? How does drag strip look with mirage? Is drag strip in bot mode the size of iron hide? Still hoping this set turns out good. Love the first 2 bots and how motor master looks.

 

Dragstrip is the same height to his head as the others.

He has a few inches of car hanging up off his back (IDW accurate even if it doesn't look that great).

These add inches to the car mode. As someone else mentioned, this is just like g1. Longer in car mode but same height in bot mode (ignoring the kibble).

I doubt anyone will make an in scale version of the car as I think there would not be enough car to work with to get a decent bot mode out of.
That and g1 did the same so everyone assumed the car should be longer. They have no idea the size of the real car.

 

Interesting fact---when the driver gets out of the car, they remove the steering wheel. (Because it's so small, and such a tight fit---you can't get in or out with it installed).

 

damn damn damn Revolt is looking better and better

 

MP Bumblebee is scaled with the other MP cars in robot mode, but is undersized compared to the MP cars in robot mode. This is basically the same thing in the other direction. Revolt will be the same size as the other TFM Stunticons, who scale fine with the MP cars, in robot mode. But to make that happen, his alt mode will be oversized.

 

Revolt looks out of proportion with his two brethren in alt mode. They look great together in bot mode though. I really need to see a pic of Revolt next to MMC Mirage in alt mode.

 

I don't have MMC's Mirage, but I'll definitely be taking pics of Revolt with DX9's Mirage once I have Revolt. DX9 and MMC should be pretty close to the same size.
