Please remove face before transformation  

 

I've not had any problems with the face/head getting scratched. There's enough clearance for it to store properly, but you just have to be aware of the position of the face before to push the chestplate up against it.

I can see how it would annoy some people. It does look slightly odd when placed next to Soundwave and Starscream, who both have the toy-accurate faction symbols. (actually, it makes the toy-accurate ones look out of place to me now. I never would've thought that to be my opinion in a million years.) An additional chestplate with a toy-accurate symbol probably would have made just about everyone happy.

 

In a nut shell , Perfect . Lmao ! drama free is the way to be !

im sure at this point, its known that this guy is ridiculously poseable...its like a revoltech and a figma had a baby!
I honestly was a bit let down when I took him out of the box as he isnt as physically imposing in the statue pose he arrives in. As soon as i started to pose him though, there is an amazing amount of range in the shoulder joints. He is probably the most dynamic of the MP releases to date. I think it goes without saying that Megatron is my favorite character and this is a worthy representation of him. Im sure the toon aesthetic isnt for all, and there are those who feel the 3p alternatives are better. I myself own mp5, apollyon, and despotron....why well I like Megatron. This one is by far my favorite of the designs......that may change when I go to transform him.

Man what a truely amazing figure. what a time to be a collector

 

After a couple of days with the figure, I have maybe the tiniest scuff on the barrel after putting on the silencer. I haven't filed anything down, and everything fits really snug. It's a phenomenal figure.

 

I wonder if anti-ko people would still be opposed if someone just made a KO chest plate with the toy logo on it as a sort of "upgrade"

Finally got my Megatron!  

Got it from AE, $168.43 shipped (slow shipping - 10 days). Would of got it sooner but I was one of those that thought Megatron was dropping at the end of April and not March. Took me 2 weeks to realize, thank you TFW2005 for not front paging Megatron's release.  

Also, no orange plugs!!

 

Does anyone know how to check by looking at the box if your megs is the one with the orange plug?

 

All these pages of people posting pics and saying they have him wasn't enough?

Front paged or not, this thread has basically stayed on the first page of the News section for over a month now.

 

While true it wasn't originally titled as it is now.

I think.it started off as Megatron is coming 2017 and got retitled mid April

 

Did you order it from one of the stores which inserted an orange plug? (BBTS and HLJ are the only two that did, I think. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.) Otherwise it will be plug free. The plugs were added by those retailers not by Takara-Tomy so a general retail version won't have a plug.

 

The power of TT's Megatron, making people who make comments like this....

....still fork over the dough to buy their 'roody pooh' figures, or at least consider it!
