If you find the colored bots, keep me informed... I never repaint and don't do customs, but swaps are acceptable to me - it's my collection, after all. :lol

I keep hoping UW/TR leaves on a high note with a 4th iteration of the bruticii and give us the long anticipated battle gaia repaint.

I'm also looking at cw g2 bruticus and wondering what would be needed for a battle Gaia approximation, I'm thinking mainly swapping g2 onslaught for cw onslaught (not going to go blue since I have uw bruticus)

Ok I just got it, and I'm not sure if its like this out of the box or due to the previous owner fiddlinh around with it, but his legs/shins just refuse to stay tabbed in properly. Posing him is quite a chore...and lots of parts are lose and tend to flop off. Yeesh.

Other than that he looks great! I'm seeing all the pics of the bootiscus kit and now I'm tempted to get one too. Maybe a Takara set....hmm.

I absolutely don't get the issue with taking Blast Off apart. it didn't bother me even a little.

    ^^ Wow, that's awesome!

Along with my fleet of "Boosticii", I ended up mixing and matching the two sets (plus some Shapeways adaptors) to make this monster...no need to tear apart the arms or have the feet that fall apart YET retain the bigger torso

I ended up mixing my microblaze set with the Boosticus set too. The Boosticus feet work much better than the Microblaze ones, particularly when it comes to Swindle.

I got the shapeways adapters too but haven't been using them because the stock arm configuration is just so limited. Not that the Microblaze arms are much better with the poorly executed elbow joints. I may need up switching back to the stock configuration so I can use the PE hands with the Boosticus wrists.

They do although the pegs on the hands might need to be thickened depending on tolerances.

And wow I totally just remembered that I did end up using those parts for my Ruination already so I can't use them on Bruticus. I was going to buy another set at one point too but decided against it because I didn't have any use for the rest of the parts.

(Also gave my Ruination the microblaze feet. Originally I was using Echo's shapeways parts for the torso but that stock mold is just bad so I had been working on replacing it with CW Onslaught. It still needs some other upgrades and painting. I suck at customizing so I still haven't finished it.)

Nice! :thumb Black would look good and match the other upgrade parts, but the grey seems to work quite well.

Agreed, I also wish there was something better...I kept hoping Planet X would make these guys...still holding out hope!

Wow, that's awesome! I'm going to try this also. Like Iceconvoy said, black would be a match but grey looks good!

I hear that! I plan to get on their case regarding FoC Bruticus like I did with Trypticon :lolol

That being said, I will never get rid of that custom Boosticus set you sent me :thumb .

I might be looking to sell mine, but I'm waiting on C+ Custom Studio to make some noise about their CW upgrade kit for Bruticus.

Since the thread got necroed, I thought I'd mention that I have a complete unopened Titans set for sale (plus Fruiticus limbs if you want), but I'm in the UK so international postage would have to be taken into account if you're not. Not sure what price they go for these days, so I'm open to offers.
