Does this voice match Hot Rod in the film?

 

Sounds very similar but not identical

 

He's an actor. Of course he won't sound Identical to the character.

Just thought the voice would be the same.

 

Saw a vid with a chunk of the preview recommended to me on YouTube and since I'm always interested in TF info and my hype for the film's dead enough for me to no longer care whether the vid's in an enjoyable quality, I caved and watched it. It was actually quite good and addressed one or two of my concerns for the film. I also thought the film seemed unusually calm for a Bay film, until I realized it was the lack of music. As much as I love Jablonsky's scores, he can go overboard. The constant bombardment of epic music definitely helped make the tone and pacing of the first half of AOE feel off.

 

Did Cade really say - "That's not Optimus!"?

He was only in the footage in vehicle mode.

 

What does Hot Rod say just before he transforms and ejects Vivian? Sounds like something in french.

 

Doesn't say anything at that point when we meet both of them as far as I recall.

 

Two of those stories were combined to form the last knight, they said that, so they're not necessarily stories that we would envision as flowing one to the next ...I feel that they just developed a timeline of cybertronian history first then applied that to invent possible stories that could become movies, I don't think they're fully fleshing out the history nor retelling it, it's just something that's going to surround the future movies not dictate them

Well if Bumblebee doesn't talk in this movie then why would they tease his potential voice restoration, right? I was thinking to myself they probably are and have been trying to restore his voice since the end of AOE but most likely his voice will fully come back at the moment when it would matter the most just imagine when Optimus is holding Bee and is just about to stab him as he finally hears an old voice he recognizes that unlocks something in his mind and allows him to brake free or at least fight the Quintesson control, the only thing that trully awakens him is a distress call from the real old Bumblebee he remembers - "OPTIMUS!" So, you see this "shout of insight" comes just in time to stop the murder Prime, what do you think? And Optimus remains still, shocked and his eyes start changing between blue and purple, eh?

 

That's what I was thinking too, and I hope that's how it goes. It's rather annoying that the biggest transformers character in the movies who gets the most screen time (besides Prime) can't say shit.

Or maybe I am wrong, in the imax footage Cade is clearly talking to Bee via radio, like giving a report on the mission, so maybe Bumblebee does talk after all?

 

Also is that really Mark Ryan who's the director of special forces, I mean it does sound like him.

 

Why do people keep saying Bee can't say shit? He talks more than most other Autobots lol.

 

Because technically, he can't "say" shit, lol. The way he "speaks" is just annoying.
