I\'m not sure if this week be a hit with younger readers, but might be for collectors, although probably more so if it was included in a regular TF comic (like Robo Capers or Combat Colin was in the original UK Marvel TF comics). Still, I will admit that this is much easier to understand what is going on in each panel, visually speaking, which is something the regular TF comics often fail to do, IMO.
A four issue series ending at #3 Diamond Comics Shipping List for April 5th & Revolution Aw Yeah to be cut short? - Transformers News - TFW2005
This is the same guy who does all the DC SuperPets comics. I love his style. Goofy but fun. Now that other guy who does the campy crappy GI Joe vs Transformers Movie stuff. I hate his chicken scratch art.
I have a feeling that these \"younger readers\" probably just won\'t care about it, though I hope I\'m wrong. I feel like they should have made a wholly original story instead of tacking it onto something else.
This really doesn\'t appeal to me. I don\'t think it looks awful, but it\'s probably not ment for someone like me. The name \"aw yeah revolution\" also sounds like what i would name something when I was 10.
A four-issue limited series, canceled after issue #3? Seriously? Man, that is a bummer. Who made that decision? My kids read itty-bitty Hellboy (or Redboy as they called him), I can\'t believe this, out of all things gets canned.
Still, I think I'd rather be reading the more serious attempt at Revolution before I read the condensed comedic version. I hope it'll be funnier than the preview here, though. That just isn't doing it for me.
It's not even a "condensed" version, it's a completely different story that just has Transformers, G.I. Joe, Rom, and the Micronauts in it. There isn't even any sign MASK or Action Man are going to be part of it.
Alternatively, it could have been planned to be 4 issues, but the creators later decided 3 were better.
