I try really hard not to have those regrets, particularly overpaying for something. The big one for me were the MMPR Figuarts. I bought them maybe a year or 2 ago, but I got most of them for around retail... except the Pink Ranger. I... I think that's all I have to say. (Also, it was Legends Cosmos and Swerve you were thinking of, TJ.)
Haven't finished listening while I work, but I have to disagreea bit with Arin's (Aaron's, Arin's?) suggestion about switching majors. I got my BS in Mechanical Engineering and I am in the Aero Industry, take Aero classes, but having a Mechanical Degree I feel gives you more flexibility, there is a lot that goes into Planes, Jet Engines, etc besides the Aero knowledge. Definitely apply to every major Aero Industry company you can for internships though (and use your schools network to find minor ones too), if you can intern/coop it gives you a huge step up with the place you work at (you're a familiar face) and the industry when you have experience. I would say a huge difference in the level of success between Engineering majors that graduate together isn't just how smart they are but how much relevant work experience they had when they started applying to positions when they graduate, a lot of us didn't even have to worry about applying, we had jobs waiting for us with the companies we interned at (still apply at other places to shop your salary around though).
Wait a minute, did ya'll ever talk about the announced director for that Bumblebee spinoff? If that's not a reboot for the movieverse, I don't know what is.
Aaron. And I was taking his question at "I'm interested in Aero but am in ME." And I'm not sure about where you are, but here Aeros have a slight leg up over ME. And people with an A&P on top of that.
Have you guys forgotten the first movie had a fair amount of borrowing from the generations/classics?
Yeah but that was to fill out a line that had massive demand after it was produced under the fear that nobody would want anything from the unknown quantity that was the live-action movies, stuff for the fifth one would be a different context imo also I have no idea if what I just wrote lines up with the context of whatever it was we were saying in the recording
On Megatron and guns... I hunt recreationally (it was a point of bonding with my grandfather and I), and so a casual interest in guns comes along with that. So any Megatron, official or otherwise, that has a gun mode needs to be something that can I can hold comfortably. I mean Megatron as a gun is kind of a unique figure concept in that reasonably accurate alt mode scale to human being is possible. So it's cool to see that pulled off well. I feel the same way about Soundwave as a tape player and Reflector as a camera. I like that stuff to be relatively accurate in scale compared to a person. Also, I mean I get it Vangelus. It doesn't matter to you, but people have varied interests
Thanks for convincing me to buy a Veritech fighter I didn't need with money I don't have. Harmony Gold are awesome for making these though.
There are actually people who have believed Vangelus when they pretend helicopters don't exist?! And I am baffled by flat earthers…
