It seems like this might work better if the pre-order was done at say, both TFCons.

There would copies for those events. AND during the charity event, they'll pull out the clear Targetmaster. AND the fans will b***h about the ways MMC does charity although said fans would never perform any act of charity outside of the context of getting a toy.

"These events have happened before and will happen again" Not sure who said that but it's true.

Hmm, another person still claiming the Backdraft mold has tabbing issues I see, weird. You may wish to check out my video on how to transform it correctly. Mine has zero gaps in alt mode when it is transformed the right way.

Also this version has the improved crotch and shoulder parts (made free and easily available for wave 1 Backdraft a long long time ago) already built in.

So I'm honestly having difficulty seeing why you've taken the stance you have given this is the case.

The video you made of proper transformation, and the one Peaugh made for changing to the upgraded parts should help those that are willing to put the effort of doing / watching it.

Unfortunately, some will not do the effort of fixing their toy, as it is a hassle to some, and some only display them, and just remember their original feeling of the mold. First impressions count alot, when you open a premium toy from it's box.

That's a joke, it doesn't tab in out of the box, the side panels were designed to be able to tab at top joining the center crease while the bottom of the sides should tab into the top of the wheels chrome foot peice. That isn't possible because the feet sides are too thick and prevent it from tabbing while other tabs are in place and the plastic stresses if you try to tab all of them because the clearences are off on the mold.

I guess I must have gotten lucky four times in a row with this mold. Yay me?

He's actually not. I was having tab issues on my Backdraft too, so I watched Lazy's video for the proper order and it all came together nicely.

Post the link, I'll watch and try and if I'm wrong I'll admit it. Do you have a video on properly transforming the wheels on hoist and TB so they don't look like he hit the curb too many times?

The worst part is I didn't even transform the mold for inferno or grapple. It's like your saying to do something the designer and assembly person didn't know even though they produced hundreds. So I'm really curious what kind of magic transformation is in this video that will overcome what the factory could not at the production level BOTH times with this mold.

The Takara version isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just wish it had a bit more heft, rubber tires, chromed roof horns, opening door tabs, and fully articulated hands.

I've watched LazyAza's tabbing technique and honestly I can now get the alt mode to tab together properly. It requires a little bit of work but the final result is what I was looking for and looks absolutely fantastic. Much appreciated LazyAza!

However, I still have some general tab and tolerances issues like the ladder in bot mode, the fingers specially thumb being too loose, the head box untabbing too easily and hip joint that has too weak a ratchet to handle the heft of the legs.

I know no toy is perfect, but I think as someone else mentioned earlier first impressions can have a lasting effect. Having defects that are out of the norm from a highly respected company is a real bummer.

    Here ya go:

I've done this transformation many times. Zero stress to any parts I can see. As I stated a few times in the video itself, firm squeezing is required to make it all sit right but also doing each step in a particular order is rather crucial to making sure the parts align in such a manner they aren't dislodging excessively as you go. Even so they may once you reach the final stages which is why applying the pressure needed is vital.

Even in my video I could have done the side panels more cleanly as they certainly had to be adjusted to sit right.

I don't think applying such pressure will actively damage the toy, everything seems designed to click just right and lock tightly together. It's just one of those molds that forces that upon you if you want it to do as you desire.

I wish I owned Terrageis to find out what exactly is up with that mold. My experiences with figures tend to be quite different to a lot of peoples. I've only ever damaged three figures in my entire life and all were entirely my fault. Well except for that one piece of junk from xtrans lol.

Looks pretty straight forward. Thanks for the heads up. I don't own the mold yet but now I'm even more excited that everything tabs in great and it seems to be mass user error making it look wonky.

I wish you had Terrageis too, I'd like to know what's up with that mold as well before I buy it.

    Which xtransbots figure?
