Are the spots on Cheetor in the same spot on every figure?

 

That's a good question. You people who buy multiples care to chime in?

 

I think so. I was trying to compare the freckles on the robot faces, and to the best of my ability those look the same too, but they're ridiculously small.



Edit: Here's a comparison of the neutral face from two figures, it looks to be the same even at that level.

Good question Verno I never thought to do this before but I just compared pics of MP Cheetor to CGI stills and it looks like even the positioning of each spot is show accurate for robot mode and it may be the case for most of the beast mode. Crazy, I love it! Damn I want mine!

 

Man this guy is so cool. I can't seem to stop handling him, now that I have the transformation to a T its kind of hard to stop   he feels so sturdy, and luckily have no tight joint problems, the colour scheme is amazing especially out in natural light, he's the perfect candidate for non stop pics.

I have total faith in Takara to pull off an awesome Dinobot.

 

The only thing I wished they could have added is thumb articulation... (>.<)

 

Well both Primal and Cheetors hands are removable, they pop out without needing to unscrew anything, so if anyone wanted to they could try warping an extra pair of them into whatever hand gestures they liked or perhaps in future we might be able to buy extras like hands and thing like that.

 

Yeah, I was wondering about that! I'm now suspecting we'll be getting a ton of exchangable hands in that options part pack we were talking about.

 

When Tigatron comes along he's going to look right at home stood on that same fury blanket thing you've got Cheetor on. It looks just like a snowy bank the way it's set down. You've got to take some pics when that day comes. I feel like I'd pose Tigatron slightly removed from the rest of the Maximals because he was such a loner so making a little snowy display base would be a great way to show he's elsewhere. Then someday to have Airazor flying over him would complete the dream. Ah, yes, Dinobot may be coming sooner than I'd have imagined plausible but there are still many great Beast Wars moments to look forward to.

 

One of the strips on Cheetor's robot chest has a scratch on it...dose anyone have any suggestions???? Black marker maybe???

 

Probably your best bet.

The amount of paint detail on this figure is beyond exceptional. They have really found an angle for these figures that makes them stand out well beyond most others.

 

There's still no sign of my Cheetor getting shipped. I hope everyone is enjoying theirs. The only positive I can take from the whole thing is that it'll make the gap between Cheetor and Dinobot just that little bit shorter.

 

Always the optimist. It doesn't seem right because you started this thread and have been one of the major hype men building up to this guys release lol.
The private dealer I use just told me his order was delayed. As anxious as I am to get hold of Cheetor, I've told him I'm cool with the wait. It might mean I end up picking up him and V2 Megs at the same time, that'd be a great day.

I've been wondering is anyone going to get MP G1 Megs just because of his appearance in Beast Wars?

There's plenty for BW fans to be optimistic about at the moment.

 

I am getting him for that exact option! I mentioned this a while ago in the BW thread, but I bought MP10 YOTH prime for his "dead" eyes just for this reason. I wish he had a battle damaged facade like this Megatron. That'd be great to display with TM1 Megs or if we ever get a third party TM1 Megs.

 

I broke my Cheetor the first time I transformed him! It was the little plastic hinge on his wrist that connects to his arm panel. It didn't break completely off, & I'm sure a little super glue will fix it, but man! Scared me!

 

That's awesome man, I like G1 Megs anyway so the fact he's sort of part of the Beast Wars cast is so cool in my eyes. Just in case you missed it I asked a guy in Megs' thread to take this one.

Sorry to hear that. It's the second time I've read of that happening, both times easily fixed. One advantage of being late to the party means we have all this info you guys share that makes us take extra care.
